So, this series has literally nothing to do with the lore of the games. The animatronics are very much your enemies, but it is very funny watching your reactions.
Lmfao this reaction was fun. For the lore, it's different from the musical.
The animatronics are very much dangerous (they want to kill u) and as a night guard, you have to keep track of them and survive for five nights.
Are you gonna finish helluva boss?
I would love to see you react to the other FNAF musical episodes Random Encounters have made! :)
one thing u gotta know is that the musical has a lore of its own it is only a fan made universe and sry dont have time to say all the lore so just watch matpats vids
This is 99% made up stuff, so things like the animatronics being good are just the musical's fun take on the game's lore. None of this actually happens in the games.
Imean, yeah. The animatronics *are* good in the lore though-
@@soup1118 We know they're dead kids trying to kill they're killer but they are still bad considering they have murdered innocent people
@@oldchannel3659 I wasn't aware that they actually murdered innocent people, talking about the main four of course. Sorry.
@@soup1118 i mean, they tried to kill the security guard, which wasn’t their killer. And the previous guard also died, we don’t know who he is. So it’s not that far to imagine they killed about ever guard that came before those two.
@@flamestormthecat2833 The reason they tried to kill Michael was because he looked like William, as for the other guards, yeah you're probably correct.
Mark is actually pretty good at acting. He has his own choose your own adventure videos (A date with Markiplier, a heist with Markiplier), and is releasing another soon. They're really good! He also sings at one point in Heist w/ mark, and it's pretty good, and also pretty musical-y.
wait, Mathew reacting to those? Why did I never think of that???
I DONT WANNA BE FREEEEEE
I really hope Mathew reacts to I Dont Wanna Be Free because thats a BOP
Also he’s gonna be in a tv show soon so, there’s that
also even further back than that he hade that mini series he made Who Killed Markiplier that was based off of the alternate personalities he made up like years ago that would occasionally glitch into videos or make small appearances
This musical is absolutly amazing, but it's definitely a much more lighthearted version of the story. I'd even probably say it's a different timeline of sorts. In canon, the animatronics (at least in the first game) think that the security guard (aka the player) is an endo skeleton without a suit, so if they catch you they stuff you in a freddy fazbear suit. That's definitely not what's happening in the musical, but I think it's still a fun ride! It's personally my favorite interpretation of fnaf, and I'm glad you watched it and enjoyed it! :)
(Also I'm pretty sure Mark having the fire-chainsaw-thingy at the end was just a gag. He's not actually the villain or anything.)
Exactly, there's a very lighthearted accuracy, especially because this came out relatively early in the timeline all things considered. And, with MatPat involved... kinda can't get aspects wrong 😂😂
I am pretty sure that the animatronis in the first game were actually going after the player/security guard because they thought that he was William Afton, aka their killer.
@@TheSansationalSans That wasn't the consensus at the time,
Yes, from the perspective of the security guard this was what's happening.
But the security guard was also hallucinating, which points to mental instability.
To add to that in the 2nd game, that theory was even less applicable.
And the third game reaffirmed this by separating Mike Schmidt from the killer.
Confirming that Mike Schmidt was likely delusional as the killer dismantled the animatronics with ease.
The main evidence that this line of thinking wasn't correct was released with FNAF 4 and the book,
As they filled in the gaps in the Malicious intent theory and thus gave it the push it needed
To become part of the main consensus and thus retroactively part of the canon of the first game.
@@BramLastname well, yeah, I knew it was the theory retroactively. When the series became more complex, so did the story. It clearly wasn't the plan for the first game at first. It seems to fit fine though with the evidence we have now. If all of the security guards are Michael Afton, then the lines on his paychecks about him tampering with the animatronics and his 'odor' would make sense. If these events take place after sister location, then he would be rotting, and thus smelling. But even if you don't think that they security guards for each location is the same person, each would still be wearing the same uniform (supposedly) and thus, the same uniform as William Afton wore when he killed the kids.
@@TheSansationalSans I know,
I'm simply saying that at the time
People weren't convinced that was the best explanation.
People knew that was likely the intention,
But that doesn't mean people were on board with it.
Basically, in the musical, the animatronics are friendly and mark just thinks they are evil and out to get him.
But in the game, they are 'evil' in the sense that they want to kill you because they want revenge on the person that -without going too deep into the lore- put them there.
To be honest, I don't know everything about the fnaf lore but i can tell you that.
And I'm pretty sure mark just salvaged the chainsaw-flamethrower from the remains of place. From what I know, he isn't the villain nor is Nate the villain, they're just two security guards.
The thing that's important to keep in mind is that the revenge theory wasn't the popular theory at the time,
As most of the evidence for malicious intent came from the 4th game and first book,
Neither of which were released at the time this musical was made.
That's correct. I've seen it atleast 10 times. He did get it from the remains.
@@BramLastname but they made a reference to sister location? A game that was released about half a year later then the fourth game
@@LycanMOON the name sister location was known months before any gameplay
Nate is a great singer, considering that's been his career for a few years now, and mark even has his own song that I absolutely reccomend, and they're both great voice actors and actors, respectively. Random encounters just make great musicals with shockingly great production.
I'd like to say that it's not the same lore as in the actual game but rather how they've written their story.
And markiplier was just "MURDEROUS ANIMATRONICS" Cause he thinks canon.
10:25 "I gotta say, I'm also impressed with Markipliers acting. He is sort of killing it here, no pun intended.''
Funny you would say that, because Mark is actually very good at acting over all and has several series and projects of his own, in which he often plays multiple different characters at once.
Many of them are choose-your-own-adventure type things, like 2017's "A Date With Markiplier", 2019's RUclips Original "A Heist with Markiplier" and the upcoming "In Space with Markiplier". Others are regular stories, a lot of them connected to the characters of other projects, such as "Who Killed Markiplier?" from 2017 or "Wilford Motherloving Warfstache" from 2018. Voice-acting wise he also did most of the voices in an animation connected to much of the lore of his other projects, DAMIEN, and I believe he also played a role in an audio book (that I haven't listened to). I think it was called The Edge of Sleep or something like that.
Fun Fact: This musical has three prequels (FNAF the Musical - SISTER LOCATION: Blood and Tears; FNAF the Musical - PIZZERIA SIMULATOR: Ground Zero; & FNAF the Musical: Web of Lies), with an upcoming sequel installment still in the planning stages. Mat reprises his role as Phone Guy in one of them, and they include some additional awesome creators like CG5 and Adrisaurus!

Oh hey I didn't know these existed!
The musical is definitely not like the games. It’s more a “what if Fnaf was comedy instead of horror” scenario. It also mixes things from the first four games despite the fact those, in the canon timeline, didn’t take place at the same time.
Examples of the games mixing;
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy are all fnaf 1 animatronics
Balloon boy (the little robot with the balloon), the puppet (the marrionette thingy that attacks mark at some point) and the mask Mark wears are things from fnaf 2.
Springtrap (green puppet) and the closing the air vents are concepts from fnaf 3.
And the animatronics coming to Mark’s house is something taken from fnaf four.
In the canon universe, there’s about a 40 to 50 year time gap between fnaf 4 (the one of these four that takes place earliest in the canon timeline) and fnaf 3 (the one of these four that takes place latest in the canon timeline).
So no, these musicals are roughly based on the events from fnaf, but only roughly. The most accurate fnaf musical is the sister location one i believe. It’s been a while since i saw FFPS and Help Wanted’s musicals.
"comedy instead of a horror."
So FNAF world? *burn*
What i love about this is that they dont really stick to the fnaf lore, but instead go full out with their own stuff. Its such a fun idea with different stuff from most of the games, its really cool!
Have a good day and stay safe

AJ, co-founder of Random Encounters, writer and director of the musical, and the person who played "Purple Guy," says that his personal head-canon for how Mark got the chainsaw is that an "anonymous caller" blackmailed the bungling cops into leaving it in a specified location, by threatening to expose that they allowed a wanted criminal to escape if they did not comply. Or something to that effect. This question was addressed in one of RE's "comments" videos, where the folks at Random Encounters select certain comments from each musical to respond to on camera.
I was looking for this exact comment or i would’ve left it myself
If you've never heard Markiplier sing before, you should definitely listen to his original song I Don't Want To Be Free which is part of his RUclips series A Heist With Markiplier!!!
The reason the animatronics are friendly in the random encounters songs/videos is because their content is for kids but the fnaf lore isn’t, so, they changed it so they’re friendly where as if you watch the fnaf storyline and lore they’re completely opposite because they think Micheal’s William, yadayadayada ETC ETC
I just LOVE Nate's music. I maintain Mangled is the best FNAF song out there, and his original work is incredible too. Its so rare that we get a good solid rock musician coming out of fandom spaces.
Yes!!! More random encounters and Nate?? Sign me up
And yes Mark’s vocals are so good. He did voice lessons at one point I believe before rhis
Oh Matt you GOTTA listen to Nate's music. His youtube name is Natewantstobattle and music is literally his Thing. Hes done a ton of covers and original music based on video games and otherwise! He has a whole album of fnaf stuff
Okay so, since Matthew has reacted to multiple FNaF Songs, I think that it's about the time he reacts to FootofaFerret: FNaF Everything you need to know. It's tells all the lore in 27 minutes. I think it would really help!
Also AJ writes and composes the music. Just FYI. I'm sure he had help back when this was in the works (FamilyJules didn't mix this I'm pretty sure), but now I'm pretty sure the only "help" he has is a guy he pays (FamilyJules) to finalize AJ's compositions and record live guitar for the songs and then FamilyJules also mixes a bit. I'm pretty sure. I'm sorry I know a lot about Random Encounters. I love them! This is one of their most recognized musicals but I kinda want their other one's to get love. All of them are fire!
Mark is actually good at singing and acting, one of his videos is The Heist with Markiplier, it has a musical too at some point. I recommend you to play it, it's a RUclips Originals, play it off camera or not it's fine, and if you just want to hear the song, the title is “I Don't want to be Free”,
love to see you react more.
15:59 Do note that this was their creative take on the game series. And no, he likely salvaged it from incident.
Last thing I promise. David King does the voice for Phone Guy. In other words the alternate voice for Matpat's character. David King is the one doing the screams as the building burns. It gives me chills every time. David King is AMAZING! I suggest you look into him. He does like a horror story podcast. He helps Random Encounters out with characters in their musicals. He played Bad Boon, Waluigi, the Smash Bros. Clueless Noob ( I don't know the official name. I don't think they named the characters in that musical), Mr Hopp, etc in countless other musicals. There other Random Encounters actors and actresses that have become what RE (Random Encounters) fans call "regulars" in their musicals. You should react to more of their musicals.
PLEASE.
The animatronics in the actual games are much more menacing and will actually kill you. The musical went for a different perspective.
So, the musical was made when it was still pretty early in the FNAF cycle so not a *lot* of the FNAF lore actually is relevant to the musical. They used the basic premise of "pizza restaurant with haunted animatronics that kill you at night" and made it much more lighthearted than it was in the games.
The games have a running story about missing and murdered children that started as background lore you could find in the first game didn't really affect gameplay. If you found it, great. If you didn't, you could still enjoy the game. The lore started to become more prominent in the second game and then more and more the point of the games from then forward. Both the lore and the timeline started to become more convoluted and difficult to parse with the fourth game, then the books came out which Scott Cawthon said weren't necessarily canon to the games, but were their own universe with a different interpretation of events, but then stuff from the books started making appearances in the games, and by now it's just kind of this big ball of animatronics, remnant, and pain.
Here's the basics: The pizza chain known as Freddy Fazbear's have had two instances of missing children at different locations over time. In at least one location, the animatronics began to smell and ooze blood and pus because, most likely, the children were murdered and the killer stuffed their bodies in the animatronic suits. I've always interpreted the animatronics not as *evil,* but as the angry spirits of those dead children seeking revenge and the security guard characters are just unlucky enough to be there at night when they're the most vulnerable. The third game reveals that the murderer was killed in an accident involving a springlock suit after being chased by the spirits of the dead children into a hidden back room.
There's also stuff about "the Bite of '87," where probably a security guard got bitten by one of the animatronics. The fourth game introduces a bite that happened in '83 to a child who probably died as a result... and maybe the Bite of '87 was retconned into the Bite of '83, or maybe they're two separate events, who knows? Then Sister Location introduces William Afton, a character from the books, and seems to at least partially merge the lore of the books--where Afton is both one of the two founders of the original Fazbear's Family Diner and the murderer, who killed his business partner's child--as well as at least two other members of his family, his daughter Elizabeth Afton and his son, Michael Afton. Elizabeth is dead and probably inhabits the Circus Baby animatronic and Michael... Michael is a whole other story.
After that it just starts getting even weirder and more convoluted.
Here is my attempt of the story puzzle. I'll keep it as compact as possible for both our sakes c:
William Afton and Henry Emily start a business together called Fredbear's Family Diner. Multiple employees are *injured* by the Springlock suits. The suits are finally put out of commission after the death of two employees (Maybe Shadow Freddy and Bonnie?). Henry leaves to start own Pizzeria (1985 location, presumably the origins of Withered animatronics) Crying child is utterly terrified after witnessing the two employees die, gets scared of Fredbear and Bon because of it, and eventually killed during the Bite of 83. William's wife leaves (educated guess), Fredbear's is closed down for good, his business partner left him. William mad and kills Henry's daughter Charlie, then Cassidy, and the other four in 1985 location to shut down Henry's location and have him grief over his own child like William had to go through. Their bodies were hidden by Charlie, therefore 1985 location didn't close down (Give Gifts, Give Life). Charlie puts Cassidy in Shadow Freddy and Evan's suit (yes, Shadow Freddy would technically be inhabiting the suit as a fellow spring failure victims) so they triple pilot. William kills six more children and lays them out in a birthday room for everyone to see (Into the Pit book, "It's as if he wanted me to see his handi-work."). 1985 location is shut down. Withered Animatronics are sent to Fnaf 2 Location made by Henry. William mad and kills about 5-6 more children. Original 1985 victims reanimate and tries to kill Guard, Charlie resurrects more dead kids. Place closes down due to the discovery of "blood and mucus coming from the eyes and mouth" of the animatronics, also a restless reanimated kidtronic bit someone in the head (Bite of 87) during its last day. Withered animatronics dismantled to use as parts. Henry made yet another Pizzeria (-_-) called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. No deaths happen (yay), but victims of 1985 are remade into Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy and they try to kill (Presumably) Michael Afton. Place closes down after Phone Guy is killed by animatronics. Henry sad, William not mad. William learns from Charlie and tests putting dead bodies inside robots to make them murdery. William creates the Sister Location and dismantles OG FNAF gang to use as part for new FNAF gang to use as murder toys. William's daughter dies before opening and becomes Circus Baby. William mad. William tells Michael to find his sister and set her free while he goes back to Freddy Fazbear's to collect the final pieces of the remnants of 1985 and dies in the process. Michael finds Elizabeth. Circus Baby takes Michaels skin (rude >:c) and joins Ennard to be free. (William intended for his least favorite child to die in the process of "setting her free"). Michael throws up Ennard into a sewer drain. Michael is somehow alive. Ennard b* slaps Circus Baby out of the group and becomes Molten Freddy. Henry shows up again and creates yet again another pizzeria (Pizzeria Simulator). Michael puts on some beige makeup and starts to work there. Henry lures every animatronic that has a soul tied to it, including Michael and mad William. Henry sets fire to the building, killing everyone and thing in it. For once, Henry gets the laugh as he burns William. This marks the end of William, but the main threat still roams: Shadow Bonnie. You remember how I wrote that there were two springlock deaths that nearly closed Fredbear's? The death of Shadow Bonnie sparked the match that would cause all of this to happen. Vanny is evil because Shadow Bonnie (In this case Glitchtrap) manipulated her to giving up her mind. William is victim to that same mind control Shadow Bonnie has Vanny in. Remember that secret minigame within the Midnight Motorist minigame? William is depicted as yellow because that was at a point where he wasn't being controlled yet. Yet in every other minigame, he is depicted as the Purple Guy. Who else is depicted as yellow then later succumbs to a purple force? Ms. Vanessa Von Furry. But hey, that's just a theory. A theory that's probably wrong but proud of!
I also said I'd made it compact. Lmao, "compact" my ass
4:17 fun fact these scenes of Mark as the security guard in his house (actually Nate Sharp's house I'm pretty sure) were filmed later, when Mark had red hair hence why he was hiding his hair for continuity. It is also why later his character is seen dying his hair red "because he thought it would change his appearance beyond recognition." AJ's (guy who is behind Random Encounters and plays Purple Guy and voices Bonnie in this) words not mine. He said it randomly in a video I don't remember where. The things they had to do to make this thing happen are insane. It took them so long in between nights. They released it night by night then released the supercut, or the complete series later. I am a RE (Random Encounters) buff.
The flamethrower is something they introduced to get the 3rd game to line up with the other 2,
Mark having it at the end has been confirmed to be unrelated to the lore within the musical itself,
As it was mainly just them wanting to end on a funny gag, that felt like it brought things full-circle.
Aside from that a lot of these things are references to in-game events, but with a twist to fit the new narrative,
Since the original lore is to big and complicated for a format like this one.
The mask for instance was a reference to a character that wasn't going to appear
(For budget reasons), but also a reference to a defense mechanism in the second game.
It doesn't help that the songs were made before the final script (which they covered up quite well)
And new official lore was revealed around the release of the second song, which was added into the third song
Which served a secondary purpose of transitioning from the general lore into an actual story.
All things considered this project was really ambitious, but well executed.
It’s funny how MatPat played a version of William Afton/The Purple Guy, as if all the years of theorizing FNAFs confounding lore finally drove him over the edge! The project certainly had some great casting.
The sweeper who got shot was actually a reference, he's a guy from their Mine Sweeper video
1:50 you should react to "i don't wanna be free" or just a heist with markiplier in general
This isn't the actual canon (real) lore. It's their own original AU (alternate universe) of fnaf.
Thanks for watching Random Encounters! I’ve been waiting for this for so long! I love Random encounters! (They also have another fnaf song after the musical called “blood and tears”)
You should DEFINITELY listen to Nate's music, his stuff is absolutely amazing
Basically, six children were killed by the purple guy (AKA the security guard) as well as a seventh being killed accidentally by an animatronic. The first five children then possessed the animatronics Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxie, and the Puppet. The last two, a victim and the accidental death kid were forced to share golden-freddy's body. In any case, the children are trying to get revenge so they end up killing every nightguard they see. That's the gist of it without going too deep into lore. A lot more adult and child death happens after that though. But yeah, the musical is inaccurate. It's a reimagining of the game.
If you like Mark's acting you should check out his own works! "A date with Markiplier" is great, "who killed Markiplier" was also a blast and soon "in space with Markiplier" will come out too!
I would be super excited to see your reaction to one of Mark’s actual film projects like Who Killed Markiplier, A Date With Markiplier, A Heist With Markiplier, or In Space With Markiplier. The last two have music too, super fun and different.
More natewantstobattle reactions would be awesome! Especially his Ocarina of Time album which follows the story of OoT. If you've played the game, I think you'd be very impressed!
Mark's has a lot a lot of choose your own adventures on his channel where he does acting! his most recent is in space with markiplier and they're really interesting
Just to give some explanation
The story of this musical is totally fan made, it has some aspects of the official lore but in general it doesn't relate to it at all, so don't take the events or information as the actual plot of the series
mark wasn't behind it, it was just a visual gag that he cooked his food with matpat's flame saw
OMG YOU NEED TO REACT TO MARK SINGING MORE HE HAS A FEW COVERS ON HIS CHANNEL AND THEY’RE SO BEAUTIFUL
I remember just stumbling across this a couple of years ago by accident and being stunned by how good it was, I honestly think this is my favorite thing to come out of the fnaf franchise/fandom...
Nate, the other guy in this video, is a singer. If you like his music his channel is NateWantsToBattle and his song "Phantom" is my personal fav and he did a few more things on FNAF with Matpat
The FNAF Musical is so nystolgic yo me now! It was awesome seeing someone's perspective that doesn't know about the games so many years later still enjoying it! Mark definitely has a great voice and can act! I'd check out his song 'I don't want to be free' if you want! Very entertaining! Along with that Natewantstobattle has a lot of songs from originals, covers, and just about every fandom and type! I can't recommend his stuff enough!
Mark has actually done quite a lot of music stuff, he's got a great voice.
Also he has a bunch of his own projects he's acted in, along with a show called 'The Edge of Sleep' that wrapped up filming a few month ago
To make it simple and non-spoilery, Random Encounters took situations from FNAF 1-4 and asked, "What if the Animatronics weren't evil" and made up their own story for the musical. BTW, "Sister Location" is the title for FNAF 5.
Finally!!! I’ve been wanting you to watch this so for so long!!
YOU HAVE TO WACH THE BLOOPERS ITS SOOOO ASWOME!!!!!!
So, the musical you watched isnt very accurate to the actual fnaf lore despite being a really well made video.
the animatronics don't actually have consciousness to be good or bad, its more of the souls that control them. in the 1980’s, a man named William afton murdered 6 children ( after losing his own ) and stuffed them into the original fnaf animatronics to dispose of their bodies. Then, a few years later, their souls took over the animatronics after they had successfully killed William by cornering him in the restaurant and him getting spring locked - basically all of the spring locks in the suit coming undone and the bars digging into him.
that is how spring trap was made. a decaying suit with the rotten corpse of infamous child murderer, william afton. the souls of the dead lids were soon put to rest by the puppet/charlie who was one of williams first victims. she was also the daughter of the co-creator of the freddy fazbear pizzeria franchise, henry emily.
thats all i can explain right now so i hope this helps at all. if you really want to know anything, watch mat pats game theorys because they explain SO much way better than i have. :)
That was the best Monokuma impression I have every heard.
If you want to hear more mark singing, you should listen to 'i dont wanna be free'. Its a song from his project 'a heist with markiplier.
There’s a pretty good video with MatPat and Footofaferret that summarizes the FNAF lore as quick as possible. I’d recommend watching that if you want to, it helps put things together easier. Even though it’s still really confusing but that’s FNAF. 😂
FINALLY FNAF THE MUSICAL YES !! also quick recommendation: will wood !! fans of green day, lemon demon, jack stauber, etc seem to like his music and I think you would love his songs !! he’s unlike any other music artist I’ve listened to before and it’s practically impossible to label his work with a genre :]
I highly recommend listening to Nate's (the other guy) music! He has some great fnaf songs, as well as his own original songs!
“It is so hot here in Australia”
That is the understatement of the year, my fellow Aussie.
FootofaFerret made a 27 minute long video explaining the fnaf lore up to most games plus a bit of the recentest one and I highly recommend you check it out!
The video is called FNAF: Everything you need to know (ft. Matpat)
Both Footo and Matpat talk about the lore and sum it up really well.
But just so you know, its not too often a theory stays the same for too long as new ideas and lore are being still being discovered.
some of the lore they told is not correct
@@HereMays oh dang, it is? Do you know what parts?
I know you were talking about nate’s nice high notes, but please take a chance to look at his music! He has incredible songs!
OH HECK YEAH! I am a HUGE Random Encounters fan! Obviously I am a fan of Markiplier and MatPat. But I hadn't heard of Nathan Sharp until I watched this. This is actually the first musical of Random Encounters I ever watched. I was a huge fan of both Matpat and Mark, and that's why I watched it when it came up in my recommended. I loved it obviously, but oddly enough it took me 2 more months to actually hit subscribe to their channel. Now I sing their songs on the daily. I am typing this before I watch your reaction. I can't wait to watch you react to it.
I LOOOOVE seeing you get confused by Random Encounters inside jokes like the sock puppet (as seen at timestamp 3:11 .) And confused by the animatronics nice dispositions in this. In the games yes they will kill you. But in this...no.
you should watch the kindergarten musicals by random encounters
Here’s a general synopsis of the games to help you understand fanmade stuff. Pretty much all of the animatronics are possessed by the souls of murdered children. Their dead bodies were stuffed into the animatronic suits whom they then possessed (which is why they try to kill you the same way). They aren’t “evil” but they are tortured and do kill people. The only truly evil animatronic is Springtrap (the yellow/green bunny) who is possessed by the man who murdered all of the children (aka Purple Guy/William Afton). The whole mystery of the original games is trying to solve what happened to the children that William Afton murdered. Hope that helped!
I don’t think it was implying Mark was behind it. I think it was just a one off joke saying he not only escaped, but took the time to steal the super cool weapon from the burning building.
please watch the bloopers for this even in just your own time, theyre so good and really cool to see how they put everything together
You should totally watch the bloopers there hilarious.
If you're wanting a quicker explanation of the lore I HIGHLY recommend the video FNAF: Everything You Need To Know by Footofaferrt featuring MatPat its got the both of them condescending down all the lore and giving you as straight a timeline as they can. Would love to see your reaction to it 😊
Lets just say that FNAF is a very very very very, long and big rabbit hole that you will have to dedicate most of your time to watch mat Pat theory's on what's in the box or something like that, but we can settle on saying that the games and the lore (confusing at times) are very fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun (reference to a game that I won't tell you the name of, cause I want you to figure it out by yourself).
You should definitely listen to more of Nathan's stuff!! He's an amazing musician and I think his style is something you'd enjoy given the things you've liked in the past
A friend sent this over to me. I've been a fan of Random Encounters for a few years now, and I'll say this. FNAF the Musical expands outside of this single video, and has it's own lore that weaves in and out of the actual lore. It has grown a lot darker over the years with it's installments (examples being Blood and Tears, and supposedly the sequel to Web of Lies, which hasn't been finished yet), but it still keeps its own story. The point of the musical was to create something where anyone could watch it. As a more comical music channel, it's more of a comedy than a horror musical.
Please please pleeeease react to Natewantstobattle's fnaf songs if you like his voice here. Nightmare, mangled, and finale are some of my favorites
I would love to see a video were you watch Footofaferrets’s fnaf lore summary video it’s a great place to start and it explain everything is simply as possible
I remember watching this with my mate a good few years ago, nostalgia hits hard.
You should do a video were you react to the lore of fnaf but you need to check the date on the vid you watch because the lore can change a lot in not a lot of time
Just a taste of how different this is to the actual lore is that in this springtrap is just a green puppet but in the lore he's the corpse of a child murderer inside an animatronic suit
There's some really good lore videos on YT, Hyper Droid would be my go-to! Also, if you're looking for more Nate content, he's made some FNAF songs, as well as songs for other shows, but I can't recommend his Paid In Exposure album enough!!
The musical has its own lore, in the games the animatronics are haunted by children who were killed by a security guard so they attack anyone in the guard uniform but random encounters was a lot more family friendly than that at the time. They’re more comfortable with dark storylines now which can even be seen in their more recent fnaf stuff but i think they just wanted to avoid child death at the time. Also, i dont think mark having the chainsaw at the end was meant to hint at him being the mastermind behind everything. Im pretty sure it was just meant to be a funny visual gag
I love this musical so much I used to watch this 5 times each day
8:16 *Chica is her name. Which is also the name of Marks golden retriever
Was having iffy day, but this brought a smile to my face, and I was hit with a wave of nostalgia :)
Thanks for being amazing as usual, hope you're doing well! :D
Okay, lore time, this will be fun.
So from my understanding each night is meant to reference the games in order (Minus night five)
First night is based off the first game where the animatronics want to stuff you into a suit because they think you are an endo skeleton, therefore from their perspective helping you (I'll try my best to only use the Canon info we know but the theory is that the real reason why is cause you are an important person's son who looks like him and they want revenge, thinking you are that person)
Second night and a bit of first night (okay I'm putting this here for certain reasons) the second night is based off of the second game but the mask and puppet from night one? Second game. Not much else to mention here.
Third night. Based off of the third game and where Springtrap gets introduced both in the musical and in the game. (He's actually that certain person I mentioned before in a suit) anyway, let's just say he has anger issues and struggles with keeping his family happy.
Fourth night. Based off the fourth game which is set in a kids bed room. Also, the mention of a bear biting off a kid's face? That's from this game. The game switches from survive your bedroom to a 8-bit mini game leading up to a birthday at the end of each night. (OH and the cute robot with the balloon is from the second game. He steals batteries.)
Fifth night. Actually isn't based off of anything! From what I can think of Sister Location which I believe is the fifth game hadn't came out yet (mentions after fifth night) They just used this to put in a random plot twist for fun.
Extra Info
The sixth game and seventh game in the fnaf series lines up with the night lore of the games! First five nights getting harder, a sixth night for lore and a seventh night for challenges and changing the danger rating of animatronic, a custom night basically.
Then VR Help Wanted came out and was like an official end but beginning to the story.
Security Breach came out recently and that is essentially that fun part of the new beginning of FNAF.
I hope that helped without revealing to much important lore.
To summarise, Animatronics bad, night guards sometimes bad people? Animatronics likes getting rid of night guards.
There are three other musicals outside this one, for fnaf. The bloopers are fun too.
A lot of the things that happened are based around old theories that are long disproven but are still nostalgic to the fandom to this day so you really need to have context more of the fnaf fandom and culture but knowledge of the first four games including the game play helps too. I suggest watching MattPat's really old theory videos on his channel Game Theory and watching playthroughs of the games. FNAF The Musical was actually my first positive association with fnaf and is so nostalgic for me. It started a fire in me that threw me down the rabbit hole with a smile on my face and I never would have gotten to where I am now without FNAF The Musical starting it all for me.
It's been so long since I've listened to this, this was my favorite video a long time ago
13:36 AJ (purple guy) made a how to make a flame throwing chain saw, it's on tiktok.
You can react to Resident Enis and Resident Enis 2! It's by Random Encounters as well.
You should react to more random encounters videos please
You should definitely check out Nate's music, he's an amazing artist
Love Mark in this. And watching the bloopers and behind the scenes stuff for this is really fun, everyone was goofing off and having a good time!
Please react to some of NateWantsToBattle's original songs. You won't regret it. I'd recommend Salvaged, Phantom, Branded and Mangled.
Hey a really cool song you should react to is "i dont want to be free" (Or something along those lines) from Markiplier!
I watch the fnaf musical whenever I’m feeling sad so I’m so happy to see this because I love your videos so much :D
Also RE made their own lore for fnaf. The animatronics are not good in canon that’s just what RE decided to do to make it more fun!!
I think the implication is mark looted the flamethrower as a memento and is not evil, but I may be wrong.
All of this was just them messing around, none of this happens in the game
U should listen to the other random encounters fnaf songs
I've been waiting for this! I've memorized these songs as they have all been engraved into my memory from my childhood
Basically this is a fun interpretation, in the game they do actually want to kill you but its more so them seeing you as an endoskeleton and wanting to stuff you in an animatronic suit (there are mechanical inner workings so you would get crushed). At one point in the franchise a child gets their face bitten off (the bite of 87). The reason the cameras shut off and you have to be careful about the doors is because you only have a set amount of power that depletes throughout the night depending on how much you use it (lights, you cant keep the doors closed, etc). There are different ways to survive the animatronics when they get to you, mainly flashing your flashlight at them, putting on a freddy mask so they think you're an animatronic, and playing a music box. I'm not too deep into the fnaf lore, but springtrap is to my knowledge considered scarier and possibly more violent, pretty sure he was the main villain in fnaf 3. He's actually possessed by William Afton, the co-founder of freddy fazbear's who used the suits to get closer to children in order to kill them.
anyone can feel free to add more to this or clarify/fix things!
I did not expect this-
If MatPat and Markiplier aren't in the FNAF movie...really Cawthorn???
You should check out Nates stuff too! He does a lot of Fnaf music, as well as other stuff, but he also has two albums (Sandcastle Kingdoms and Paid in Exposure)
Considering how you liked Nate's voice, you should really check out his music especially his FNAF album
OMG EARLY YESSS I LOVE THIS MUSICALL
And 2nd comment😏😏😏
Edit: yes the animatronics are evil, not in this musical (except springtrap)
Edit 2: the kitchen camera is always broken in the og game so that's why they keep mentioning it
Edit 3: Markiplier isn't behind it, he just got it lol
Next, I think you should take a look at A Heist With Markiplier and A Date With Markiplier
I know the names are kinda weird but trust me it's amazing :D
Oh my god yes! I've been waiting for this! I'm so excited
I really want Mathew watch natewantstobattle (the other person in this musical) he makes English covers for anime songs
OH MY GOD IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO :DD
Also the musical isn’t based off the actual lore it’s partially lore and partially made up, it includes some cannon aspects but mostly non-cannon ones
