The way I hated Lucious's mom, that woman destroyed Lucious's inner spirit. I understand she had mentally issues but it seems like even when she seemed sane she still kept destroying Lucious inner man. She never wished too see him happy. It sad that no matter what Lucious tried to better himself and those around him, his mother's words kept breaking down everything good he ever tried to build, and we have Andre to thank for that. If he didn't brought that woman back from mental home then who know, Lucious and Cookie's relationship could have flourished. Words are sharp then a double edged sword, and whether we are aware or not of how destructive they can be, they will always creates our realities. It's mostly difficulty to overcome what was spoken about us, especially but people who are close to us. There is no doubt Lucious loved his mother, but that woman never cared about his son. I always cry whenever I rewind the hurtful words she has always said to him. It so sad that alot of children grows up being broken by what their parents or some other people had constantly said about them. And we wonder why we have disfunctional society and bitter adults. I for once believed that Lucious got a good heart, maybe even a goo heart then Cookie's, but his spirit was broken that he kept failing expressing love or cares toward his family. If he was really wicked, I smear he could have abandoned them several occasions. Andre made him loose his leg, not to talk of how Jamal and Hakeem constantly kept embarrassing him publicly, but he still loved his sons, and we never had him whining about what they did to him when they have disagreements or whatsoever. On the other hand, we have seen how Cookie has always been whining about how she spend 17 years in prison blah blah. For me, Lucious deserve a trophy coz in took all the heat his family has put him through, yet he continued loving them. I am not saying he was perfect, all I am saying is most people critised him, forgetting his family's own share of their family's problems. None of the Lyons were blameless, yet most time Lucious was the one that took all the blames.
Marriages ant all they're cracked up to be my parents were together and then they got divorced and put us down for the most part of a 6 year custody battle so they couldn't get them to agree and they had to ask us to testify because they could not get them to agree so me my brothers brothers being older had done everything to give them separate visits to give my mom parents custody until my older brother was ether 18 or something changed lucky enough nothing happened
Ashanti Mitchell why uu typing like that and he divorced cookie while she was locked up because he couldn’t live with himself knowing she was in there and he couldn’t do nothing about it
