Also in the first minute of the tape when you turn to the right on the Intermodal train you'll see 4 pup trailers from Yellow Freight System and I doubt the company reopened so these must be going in transit to the new buyer

Have you thought about putting a Sharpie Dot over the Web-Cam night shots. It will block some of the light coming into the lens & should brighten your night shots. It wont effect your daylight shots much as the lights are not in the view you are capturing . If you can screw a filter to your web cam and block that harsh night light, no damage to your lens .
My grandfather was born in 1901, and grandmother in 1903, both first generation here in the states. Grandma became a nurse, and grandpa an attorney and then voted in as judge. They lived their entire lives in the harbor and railroad town of Ashtabula. My grandmother's brother Arthur passed away after losing his legs in a railroad mishap. We spent many holidays and other vacation periods visiting the area. Lake Shore Park, Walnut Beach, Point Park, the Ashtabula river ford, ALL of the steps from the back door of the Elks Club to the waters edge, the bascule and many covered bridges, parks, trails, other attractions, and when I was a kid, the control towers and multiple railroad support locations. The train sounds were endless - all hours of the day and night one could hear horns and the banging of couplers as train crews hurriedly made up trains. The west ave New York Central yard and the water level route were several blocks north, and the North/ South harbor mains were a few blocks to our East. Before they built the overpasses on West Ave. and Prospect (St Rt 20) one would always get held up by a train. The tower on 32nd at the diamonds were a favorite place to visit. Grandma and grandpa knew so many people. As the oldest of the grandkids I often rode along with them. A neighbor had been with the railroad for decades. I was shown how they watched trains pass, looking for hot boxes or unsecured freight, to operate the switches, first gen diesels, turned them on the wye, running them through the fuel and sand servicing areas, and accompanying the crews on local runs. Riding the motors was so cool but I wish I'd have had an opportunity as a conductor before they phased out the caboose --. Then these safety/comfort cabs came out and everything pretty much looks the same.

Come to the UK, what you have seen is common here, especially in London. Ok they are passenger trains but we get a LOT of freight only movements.
