It's not about better or best , Anyone with an ear for duets would know that Heather's voice and performance seemed to be such a part of Andrea's that I couldn't tell whom I was listening to, the oneness of their performance was something rarely heard. I worked as a weekend sacristan at a Catholic Church for four years back in the early 2000s. Almost every wedding featured this song, but I never tired of it. So beautiful!

Just heard it at a funeral. Celine sings it so beautifully, I actually tmistook the voice for Barbara Streisand. That is the hugest compliment I could give.
I remember seeing Andrea at the San Remo Festival in the late 90's…..he did not win, a guy that wrote a song about two policemen being killed won the prize. I was very upset…but then a few years later he became popular and performed all over the world. It taught me a lesson….it's not how you win but how you finish. God has been very good to Andrea and I wish him the very best, always.

This isn't exactly opera. Neither one is an opera singer (though Bocelli is classically trained, he's never sung in an opera and his technique is altered to a more pop style for most of the music he sings.) But yes, regardless of genre this is lovely music!
