I had such wonderful result from my okra last year that I saved some seeds to grow this year. I grew the plants in a raised bed, and it was my first time growing them. They produced lots of pods and the plants lasted well into fall. I'm in zone 8A SE United States. Thank you for another nice video!

Hello sir! Great video! May I ask you, what would you say the temperature was when you started your seeds? I live in Florida on the east coast of the United States and my okra plants should be at least twice as big as they are now... Florida is having an unusually cooler spring, but we're still in the high 60s Fahrenheit. I didn't think that temperature would stagnate growth so much.. any suggestions? Thanks again!

It's hot here, 80 when I started, , if night temperature is cool then they will be a bit slow, wait, or you can hang a plastic shade about them

My okra had a flower after about 3 weeks and the main stem is still not very sturdy, I took off the flower to give it more time to mature, was that a bad idea?
