- This might be a little different from what regular viewers are used to, but it’s a passion of mine, and what would it be to make videos as a hobby and not be able to share things you’re passionate about, from time to time.
With the release of Cities Skylines 2 due imminently at time of recording, over 8 years of city building experience in the original title draws to a conclusion. This video will be a tour of my opus in Cities: Skylines, the final city crafted in the sim, Leycaster. This has been many months in the making, so I hope you find it interesting.

Having played myself I consider this city a pure masterpiece , please post more content like this
Thank you for your kind words :)
😲. Wow! That's some intricate stuff there. You've sold me on it. Looks amazing, thx!
Thanks :)
This is amazing, I don't play these sorts of titles, but man I can appreciate the time and effort you have to put into this. Don't be afraid of switching up the content.
Thanks, will do!
I love CS! I fully support doing variety content like this. Sometimes we all need a break from sc
Yay for CS!
You have crafted an amazing city.
Thank you :)
What a grand scheme. Nicely done! @0:54 the ships are crashing. 🤣
Just a little bump... :D
i really enjoy the pace and sound (music, speakingvoice..) on this channel. Thanks for sharing this passion
Leycaster is buzzing! This is so cool, everything handcrafted and all, it looks like a real place!
I never liked to play Simcity and everything like it, it's just not for me. But the passion and work you've put into this place shows and it's awesome to see! It's always great to see someones passion, this is a special video indeed! Thanks for sharing!
Farrister, I usually watch your Star Citizen videos, but man... you are the guy. You are that fellow gamer with a passion in your heart, and your words express the love for Leycaster. Through this love, we gamers feel represented. Thanks. ;)
Thanks for your kind words :)
Wow! What an improvement from the previous cities from you I've seen!! I can really see all the time and effort you put into this, it's wonderful work especially using no mods
Holy cow... This looks fantastic! I love the layout. And the junctions are elegant.
Thanks Snaggletoof, took many hours!
I'm mostly here for your star citizen videos and haven't played this game. However, I would totally watch these videos. Keep up the good work and thank you.
Thank you :)
Cities Skylines, Valheim, and Star Citizen are my top three games. Your city looks great!
Oh awesome! And thank you :)
I found your content due to Star Citizen but happy to see you enjoying City Skylines as well :D
Love the city :D
Mine tend to end up more a string of low density villages/towns surrounded by farm land XD
That's kinda how this one started!
Love this content! You’re really skilled at what you do, so it’s nice to see your take and experience in different games.
Thank you for your kind words
Cities Skylines, nice! Beautiful city you’ve built there. I’m excited to check out CS2 next week.
Supposedly it's going to be a bit rough on day 1...
Very cool ! And don't worry, you're not alone in the Verse playing these kinds of games and appreciate these kind of videos. :)
It is really cool, I hope to see more content like this on your channel! (your City is awesome btw)
Thanks, will do!
Amazing city, congratulations ! Happy to see a youtube not jailed in its channel main thematic. I Hope you will not suffer too much with CS 2 framerate ! :)
Thank you for sharing this with us, such a beautiful city! :D
Thank you so much for this nice video. The city is really awesome.
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
Just last night, I got rekked in a Bunker in Star Citizen and almost rage quit straight into this game lol.
Looking forward to more!
Not sure whether that's good, or not :D
That's an incredible city!
Thank you! I'm very proud of it :)
I never even knew there was anything like this , How amazing! I have another question how granular can you get with the detail, or how close down can you get to the detail can you do it from like street view like you're looking around as a pedestrian?
City Skylines is very much about transport as well as building, in the base game you can get quite low, but it takes addon to add first person view.
The base game lets you follow a single citizen about on their daily routine, from home to work or school to after work activities/shopping and then home again. This can give you a good idea on if your layout and transport link work or are bottlenecked etc
With the addon you follow them in first person, at a slightly accelerated timescale when they are on foot or in a personal car or bicycle. When they in a building or get on public transport it goes back to third person
Asked and answered, thanks @Ospray3151
I love Cities Skylines! I'm looking forward to the sequel, but I'll probably buy it in a few years when I can get it and it's many DLCs at discount.
I would enjoy seeing more Cities Skylines videos from you, maybe Cities Skyline 2 when it's released.
Now that we got the city tour and layout, next we need city’s combat performance, handling and visibility, operating costs and profitability, finally Summary and Verdict :)
Haha
Ha, nice! That's really something else
o7
did u start with everything unlocked ?@@Farrister
@@haustierone nope, unlocked as time went along
Nice job!
Thank you!
Awesome.
Thank you!
Looks Beautyfull !
Beautiful city
Nice 1. I played sim city on the SNES
Oh I remember OG Sim City!
I hope base building in Star Citizen has some of these capabilities.
Oh man, can you imagine?!
Very cool
I hope so!
I've had this game for years, but never played it - maybe it was in a bundle - and this video makes me regret that. Of course, it also makes me worried that I could lose a few days or even weeks in this game if I let myself.
*hundreds of hours later* :D
Just saying hi.
Hi!
