You missed the best opportunity to try Jamaican food when you were in Brooklyn! The Jamaicans in the chat were screaming that. Flatbush, Nostrand Ave etc...🇯🇲
That's one of my favorite meals from the Caribbean especially Jamaican, Trinidadian, Tobagan food. Love it. I could eat that every day of the year. Makes you strong.
No you have to go to the Jamaican restaurant off of Beaties Ford Rd ( the hood) they have the best in Charlotte but I will have to agree with the above comments stating NYC has the best in my opinion!
Also, if you come to the Boston area or particularly the Dorchester and mattapan areas, they have some of the finest Jamaican cuisine outside of Jamaica go to the Caribbean country kitchen or go to Island style Jamaican cuisine, Blue mountain Jamaican cuisine or the hummingbird really good authentic Jamaican food
This place did you a disservice without provide oxtail sauce on that rice. NYC was your opportunity to get, as authentic as you can get in the US, outside of being home cooked..
I go there whenever I come back home. I love it there. He dead on about the cabbage but put some jerk sauce over it and it's 🔥. Oh and get sorrell to drink
I remember when I was in Negril Jamaica in 1993. We had ting. I think it was good. The food I had was quite good. It was interesting seeing people dive at Rick's cafe.
You have to go back to NYC for the best Jamaican food. I live in Connecticut and I travel to NYC for Jamaican food from time to time. Where are my Jamaicans? 🇯🇲 wa gwaan ?
Ya know, you got a great thing going here with your channel. However; those in the business… or any business for that matter, have to be able to take constructive criticism… I would say to just be careful that your reviews are honest and not TOO negative. That’s all. Keep banging out these vids and I’ll keep watching.
If you're still in Charlotte, You gotta check out The Smoke Pit near Concord. Its a butcher shop and a Smokehouse and they have a signature smokehouse sandwich that's a certified banger
If you're ever near Forest City, NC then check out BJ's Cafe at the Mall. A small family owned restaurant which is black owned. Former owners of Upscale Soulfood in Shelby, NC
Woah woah woah , I don’t think you hit the right spot not all Jamaicans cook the same like me I be very picky bout Jamaican food cause not everyone the same, def suggest trying another one. Fellow Jamaican big up 💪🏾
I love ting its my favorite Jamaican drink and if u haven't tried Jamaican food U should try it and the only reason why the rice was dry was because it had no gravy so u should probably but the oxtail gravy on the rice makes so much better😋 hope u enjoyed and read my comment bye
If the auntie serving food is cold and almost rude to you and they are out of at least 1-3 dishes, you know you're about to have a culinary awakening. All the best Jamaican spots ive been to here in the states have been like that. I have no idea why, but now I work with a dude from Montego Bay and he pretty much said the same thing. Lol
I don't know about the coldness but I know they out of a dish cause the food is fresh and takes awhile to cook so only so many pot get made in one day.
Some people cannot handle a real spicy beef patty, which would work better with tha coco bread if the heat bothered you. Some Jamaican places make the authentic Caribbean style cuisine despite the fact that not all Americans might be able to handle it.
Jamaican food definitely one of the best foods out there.. at least in my opinion
It is
It is lol
Thanks
Definitely! ❤ Jamaica Jamaica! 🇯🇲
