- Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero's ranked DP battle online matches. I decided to try out ranked DP battle with a team to try and fuse against my opponents. DP battle is fun because you can't just pick the most OP characters and squish them in a team. You have to really manage your 15 point cost in order to make a great team.

I do think SPARKING shouldn't be this easily accessible imo. Sparking should work the same as a comeback mechanic where it can only be done after you take a certain amount of damage. Too many characters have lightning fast unblockable ultimates that delete 3 of your healthbars. Yes, you can vanish a lot of these ultimates, but the chances of you successfully doing them are so low, it's not even worth a discussion because they can just go sparking again and make another attempt.

@@enterthekyuubi some characters having those skills that give you sparking changes that though no? ACTUALLY charging your sparking takes a bunch of time and distance, but the 3 point skills that just grant that are much faster.
@@PapaBerto Yeah, it is, but motherfuckers don't let you breathe in those ranks. By the time you even start the animation for the skill, they'll already burst dash behind you and interrupt it, forcing you to either counter, sonic sway, or side step.

DP is the way to go for ranked, the only ranked mode I will play. Plus slaying a whole team with your first character and the joy when the enemy can't even get past your first character is peak gaming.

Also i believe that if you fuse while in Game he is going to be stronger than if you simply picked him as a character.
you definitely get benefits from fusing in game due to the sacrifice of that extra character, but it's a matter of not fumbling that fused character because then you are in deep shit after he dies.

From my understanding trunks and Broly have unblockable attacks because of their character types. Trunks is a sword/weapon user and Broly is a strength/power character.
Idk if that makes sense but I think the most fair code to go about sparkings is maximum 2 sparkings for a dp fight and maximum 1 sparking in single battle because going for sparkings all the time is a huge fun killer
It's also possible to constantly pressure ur opponent with sparkings so that they would actually need to engage and not sit in a corner and spam abilities but that sounds boring imo
DP battles are definitely the way to go for some actual variety from barrage of Goku, Vegeta, and Fusion spam in singles but I've still yet to find anyone even playing Frieza besides me

Sparking are crazy good but good players will make you work for it. There are many characters who can go into it immediately but for most you still have to allow yourself a good 3 seconds. With how fast the game is though, even getting 3 seconds in some cases is rough.
A fight against Stray would be cool to see!!

In all seriousness though that is where arena type fighting games become fun. Learning how to correctly control space, effectively counter, and throw out the quickest heaps of dmg you can (which typically comes in form of an ultimate or super).
I really want to see how effective the ki blasts are but i havent seen any streamers use ki blasts much yet.
Requesting that you use Gotenks and ki blast spam for a round or 2 😂😂
This maybe a dumb question, where do you setup your team. Setting it up before a match is stressful with the 30sec timer. I’ve searched forever and can’t find it

When you do grab clashes you have to hold the button to try and get it as close to the end as possible (idk if that made sense)

Yo @PapaBerto. You should try doing a combo then switching characters when they go flying. You’ll be able to continue the combo. It’s the tech bro. Also would love to see you and stray run some in this game

Use semi perfect cell with only using drain life cell attack.
I haven't played the game yet, But i kinda have a in depth question. When your character has a certain amount of health bars; when you take damage does it reduce how much your fusion has or is it always a set amount?? For example, if you're goku and you have 3 heatlh bars and you fuse you'll get 4 health bars with vegito right; BUT what if you're goku and you only have one health bar due to taking damage and you fuse, do you still get 4 health bars or is it reduced 1? Cause if fusion is a set amount of health no matter what then that means there is no punishment for the round, you can wait until the last minute until you're 1hp and fuse lol.
Even though it eats a character, imagine instead of losing a character to the round you just keep a set amount of points to make sure you can fuse, do as much damage as you can and fuse when you're near death.
Grab clashes you hold square and try to get as much meter as you can

Now we can hope for a balance update. Sparking looks broken. Least have a gauge limit or timer to avoid over using it back to back

No cap i refunded this game twice to me its not worth deleting 3 health bars like berto did is stupid also not being able to move after the clash is dumb to they need to fix.this game right know ppl gonna sweat with fusion characters so boring ngl if you have storm stay on their atleast there yoj cant delete health bars like over here so boring they need to nerf this game right know its for me personally more broken than connections
The game is super unbalanced but fun it has allot of cheese (unblockable ultimates) and its just like any other dbz game a fusion fest fusions everywhere
