I feel like the early 00’s is def back specifically towards 04-05-06-07… I see scene styles coming back due in huge part to the massive resurgence of the alt bands of the time. Drop waist dresses and skirts and everything low waisted in general. Fairy core is having a huge moment. Def bows and lace and sheer, tutus etc still having a big moment. I think skinny jeans are about to come back because we are cycling back 20 years ago and that’s when they became popular again so it only makes sense haha. Metallics are for sure super big atm. It’s cool cause a lot of the fashion from 20 years ago borrowed heavily from the 60’s so since I love that decade fashion-wise, it works for me, finding newer pieces I like and recycling my old stuff (mainly that) looking like I got fresh clothes 😆 glad I am still the same size as when I was a teenager. I will wear my clothes until they are rags! But yea typically don’t follow trends unless they align with my style vision which atm it seems to for sure!

I’ve been making mixed metal jewelry and have been OBSESSED with brooches lately. Last year I really fell in love with the color blue and I tend to keep it that way for now haha! I've been searching for some vintage Mongolian lamb jackets! They're still warm and a really nice alternative to fur ❤ I totally agree with Devyn about vintage fur being warmer and more ethical.

Boutiques in cities like NYC, London, and Haight-Ashbury were undoubtedly the trendsetters of that era, and I wish I could visit them just once.

2008/2009-early 2010’s is going to be the inspo for the year. Especially because we are heading into a recession so history repeats itself. The popular fashion trends of those times were definitely inspired by the late 60s (twee and indie sleaze) so we will also see a lot of 60s revival with the tights, peter pan collars, go go boots.
