An absolutely beautiful campus, quiet and peaceful for a few moments 😊 . I love brick architecture. The masonry work on the steps and walkways was beautifully done.
@@CityWalks I've never been there in person only on Google Earth Street View I'm in Oklahoma and I don't travel much and I either travel by Google Earth or watching videos like yours take care have a great week and Thank You.🤠👍 📹📱
Like 40 👍 Greetings from Naples, Florida. What a beautiful day for a walk. We enjoyed the sights, sounds and scenery there at the University. Thanks so much for sharing, have a nice week. 💯
Yes, the dog is the mascot. My husband cleans carpet and pressure washes at the UT apartments but I do not get to campus very often. It is very beautiful though.
Loved attending as an exchange student in 1982 while World’s Fair was there. The fair, downtown we’re in walking distance. Melrose Hall, which you showed, was my dorm and all exchange students were housed there. No A/C then, but such good memories. Thank you for posting this
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, our college campuses often yearn for the impression of longevity. Often, as the case here, they do reach back a couple hundred years even if the actual buildings are newer. Thanks for watching. -H
I used to only be a fan of the small town walks but i quite enjoy these walks on campus just as much. I am glad you read some of tge signs aloud cause its small kn the screen and i cant see that small. Do the roads/streets on the campus have names? This specific campus walk would be amazing to see at night
I can’t remember if I used my iPhone 13 Pro or a DJI Osmo pocket two for this video. I kind of use them interchangeably, but the Osmo pocket two is simpler to use and less obvious that I am filming. Hope that helps. - H.
Mcghee Tyson airport is about 12 miles from downtown Knoxville off Alcoa Highway. It is actually in Blount county about 3 miles from the Knox county line.
Thanks for the walk Henry. I think you posted the second Knoxville walk, but your description is for the first walk you did. No matter. A beautiful campus. I've spent time around Brown and Harvard, and this campus is nicer in my opinion. I know you bite your tongue sometimes because you want this to be a walking channel for everyone, and I understand that. That being said, I did enjoy your musings on higher education. The goal should always be to teach the truth, and to teach students to accept the truth, even if it doesn't agree with their world view. The truth is not indoctrination, not allowing the truth to be taught is. Take care.
Thanks for that. I actually just did a couple trails ala street view in Yellowstone. I've processed one of them you can see here: citywalksvirtualtours.com/beaver-ponds-loop-vr-tour-great-trail-in-yellowstone/ (go to full screen mode if you can). I also have another channel with 360 eperiences you might like. @citywalks360

Hi Roger, thanks for sharing. No AC in TN sounds rough but it must have been cool to be able to walk to the fair. Thanks again. -H
Hi Henry. Great walk and beautiful campus. Some of the buildings are definitely reminiscent of some of the old buildings we have here in the UK

You should be an ambassador for google maps.. Seriously. They should hook you up with the 360° camera and send you on your way.
