Good video. Everytime I watch a video like this it always makes me consider my strategy and if and what has changed and other tips. Like for example selling eagles when the premiums shot up. Being relatively new to the stacking community there I'd a lot of learning for me still lol. Thanks is for the video
A good storage balance would be to keep some precious metals/cash at home and some at bank box. Risk at home is loss due to weather event like fire, tornado, flood etc, burglary, robbery with weapon. Risk at bank is bank failure, weather event (vaults are built strong), burglary (less likely than your house). In my state the law says during bank failure the bank or creditors have no claim to the contents of boxes, they eventually go to the owners but may take awhile. If you are going keep a significant stack at home, have a safe, security cams and above all DO NOT tell people you have it. There's been several burglaries/robberies in my city due to the owner telling people about their stack.

Hey Smart Silver Stacker, I wanted to let you know that I have set up my Goldback (GB) lease account with UPMA in which I get a 2% investment of GBs per year.
Also I work very hard for my boys. Because I got 3 boys and they are great. You're with me and you always have then and I know I never had nothing. And when I came up I had to make everything I had and I always used to think boy, it'd be nice. Somebody helped me out when nobody is there for me, but I'm going to be there for them. You know what? When it comes time to sell? That's going to be on them if I don't really sell for nothing unless in your new truck or something. I bought 3 new trucks this year, so I don't really need that for a while.
The rate cut will be followed by a crash given the economy has already tipped over, and they’ve discontinued counting food, coffee and energy in inflation measurements. The cut will be the coup de grace. -That will spike gold and silver.
Think about 90% gold Mexican Pesos you can get a fraction coin let say 5 gold pesos (0.1205 oz) for less than %5 premium. I think that could match buying the best seller 10 oz silver bars and almost the same price.
I started out a collector and ended up a stacker, just because I accumulated so much stuff and I sold whatever I had to sell. I bought every week. Buy something and I just accumulated wealth that way I wasn't trying to, but that's what happened. And now I own house cars and People turn to me when they need something. I take care of my family and that's what it is. Not to mention, I still have all them coins that I bought in the 1980s, all those safe guidance gold coins. I paid 2 or $300 for I'll work a little bit more than that now, maybe 10 times that
buy the dip means buying when the price is going or has come down. Always buy when the price is going down, not up. It does require patience, I know from experience, lol.
I tell people to start with 10 rolls of dimes, 10 rolls of quartes, half dollars and silver dollars. Get that, then move on to 1 oz. Get enough of 1 oz move on to 10 oz and kilo for large purchases.
But you keep saying the premiums are low? It seems to me the premium is higher (like $4 above spot for CC purchases at SD Bullion) when comparing to recent past (like $2 to $3 above spot for CC purchases at SD Bullion).
Paying for bullion with a credit card means you're always going to pay high premiums. Look at the cash price for their sale items, very low premiums for current environment. They have french rooster gold coins for just around 2% over spot.
@@davidknollhoff3942 correct. Pre 1933 gold is a good example. The premiums on that stuff have collapsed. Junk silver also is trading fairly close to spot compared to this time last year. There are a lot of low premium deals at the moment.
@SmartSilverStacker Doesn't it depend on their financial situation? Sorry but that was an irrelevant question because everyone's situation is different.
@SmartSilverStacker so many people think Goldbacks are the same as bullion. They are only in the same family. The similarities end there. I'm using them more and more as time goes by.

So when you say low premiums you are comparing cash purchase to spot and comparing relative to recent past premium trends?

Why would you sell for fiat unless you needed it to pay off debt??
Let me ask you this, were those who sold for fiat in 2011 near the highs better off or worse off?
Because I am looking for a piece of land.
@SmartSilverStacker Doesn't it depend on their financial situation? Sorry but that was an irrelevant question because everyone's situation is different.
@bc_usa Sorry, but the keywords were if you needed it. No question is irrelevant. A question not asked is the only stupid question
Isn't the purpose of buying pms with fiat is to get away from fiat? So why sell pms for fiat? Just keep stacking pms.
Buy low, sell?????
