Actually L'oreal is the parent company that owns several brands like Maybelline, Lancome, Urban Decay, Nyx and many more. Estee Lauder doesn't own L'oreal! Estee Lauder owns Mac, Too Faced, Smashbox etc...That aside, really found your reviews thorough and very helpful...
I don't know how to say how much I appreciate all the time and effort you put in making these, I'm so proud and thankful. I always check your channel first if I need to compare different products or if I'm looking for reviews for a specific product. I've been thinking about buying the Makeup Revolution spray since it came out, and I think I'm now gonna give it a try.
You are a video PRO! You explained everything so great and detailed. And you really did a wonderful job of testing these products correctly. I trust you lol !
Love this super helpful but I wanted to make sure it is made clear that estee lauder does not own maybelline or l'oreal. L'Oreal owns Maybelline as well as NYX, IT Cosmetics, Urban Decay, and L'Oreal Paris etc... estee lauder is a separate company (smaller than L'Oreal).
Thank u soooo much! Ur so polite and well spoken and I appreciate u doing all the research to help us pick up the best setting spray for our faces!! ❤️
The Pixi mists are not meant to be "setting" sprays. One actually says "fixing" mist in the name rather than "setting" spray. It's just meant to give a nice finish to your makeup rather than set it. So I'll sometimes use finishing/fixing sprays to smooth out the look of my makeup and follow with a setting spray to set my face :] people often mistake M.A.C. Fix + as a setting spray too but it's just a finishing mist.
I'm very curious about what you're working as! I follow a lot of the 'big' beauty gurus, but none of them are as scientific as you are. You're very systematic in your reviews and you really list out all the points that we look out for when we purchase a product. I always come back to your videos when I'm trying to make a new purchase. Thank you for your videos! :)
Hahaha, part of that is just my personality. My education is in biology, psychology, and nursing. Professionally, outside of RUclips, I was a pediatric and labor & delivery nurse. I have always LOVED makeup artistry, and I like that this channel allows me the ability to use both sides of my brain. : )
myself and i'm sure all of your subscribers really appreciate how informative and real your videos are, thank you so much for putting out honest and good content!
My skin is dry so its hard to find the right recommendation from this video specifically but this was my first video of yours I've ever seen and I'm already going to subscribe cause youre so honest about these products, easy to listen to and nice!
I like how you systematically tested all the different products in the same controlled conditions, it shows you really care about getting accurate results!
I really like the NYX matte spray! I have very oily skin, live in Florida as well and work in an ER for 12 hrs so I need something to hold up. Thanks you for another great review!
I seriously cannot get enough of your comparison videos!! I still need to check out all your other ones ans im sure there just as good!! Your channel deserves soo many more subscribers! So many youtubers with many subs dont put any effort into their videos and there crap to be honest. thanks so much for putting so much effort and time into your videos because it will pay off!! xx
Thank you for the reviews of these. I was going to buy the Makeup Revolution but hated that my Ulta doesn't carry it in store and would cost shipping. Hard Candy can be shipped to store for free, is cheaper, and on sale right now. Knowing they work just as well made me more confident.
This is the first video of yours I've watched and was impressed about your process (testing each product 3 different days, for 10 hours, using the same foundation, skipping the primer...) Excellent methodology! You were also very thorough in your comparison by including details about each product's nozzle, spray dispersion, fragrance, cost, stores that carry it, etc. Super well done! I'll be subscribing and checking out more of your reviews. Thank you for all your work!
Nathalie your reviews have to be the absolutely best on RUclips! I never fail to follow your recommendations and have never been disappointed. Was wondering if you could compare drugstore priced loose powders, under $10, and include RCMA and Ben Nye. Thanks again for your hard work!
I love how you're so informative, thorough and honest in your videos. I am definitely going to check out the Wet and Wild and Hard Candy Setting Sprays! I look forward to watching your reviews!
Your videos seriously never fail to amaze me. Always extremely informative, I watch the whole video and feel so confident on which I want to purchase! Thank you for taking the time to sit down and thoroughly describe the performance of the product, it is very appreciated!
Oh man, im like 2 yrs late to this party lol, i cant believe i only just found you on here but so glad i did for sure. This video has cemented me as a permanent sub, your vid broke down each product & why they worked or didn't work for you. I love that you added prices, size, specific weartime, scents, misting power, etc. I do know each person will feel differently but your personal experience/opinion made it easier for me to understand each product a little better. I actually learned quite a but about setting sprays. Wasn't expecting that honestly. Great detail, clearly spoken, easy explanation on each bit of info & just pleasant to watch. About to order some setting sprays, then on to more of your vids, so tfs hun xoxo
Absolutely LOVE your Best and Worst series! Got MY first makeup items based upon your suggestions yesterday, and I'm loving them a lot! I was so proud of myself for finally buying something without leeching off of my parents lol. Thank you :)
I am so glad I found this channel! I have just about used up all of my deluxe sample of UD all nighter and really did not want to pay $33 for the full size. I purchased the Hard Candy one based on this video and love it. I'd say it's extremely similar to the UD and only $6. I really do appreciate your honesty and depth on the subject of each of your drugstore product videos.
You always blow me away and I can't thank you enough for the content you put out on your channel! Always so thorough and informative! You cover every base and just give such helpful information on all of the products you talk about. I always know I can trust and shop off of your recommendations. Thank you for sharing, so many new products coming out and sometimes it's hard to know which way to go but you always make things easier. Love your shirt too by the way 🙂
So sweet of you to say, Tanisha! I was actually worried that I rambled a little too much in this video. Some times it can be hard to get all the info out in a "short to the point" manner. Glad to hear you found it helpful! And thank you for being a long-time supporter!
Watched a few of your videos and I'm really impressed with how detailed you are. I do my research before buying new makeups (especially since I try to only do drugstore) and you have been very helpful!
Very very good informational piece! My favorite fix spray is not a drug store price ($24), but is sold in drug stores. It is the Lise Watier Fixatif with Green Tea. It smells wonderful and the benefits last all day. It refreshes, hydrates, smooths a powdery skin, and locks colours down tight. And listen to the YT poster here - shake your products well before applying. You'll be glad you did!
the hard candy hydrating primer spray is amazing for a dewy look! I'll use that and the black one, I even use it as just skincare! its comparable to the tatcha dewy skin mist in terms of finish and feel
I heard it was a dupe for tatcha from a comment on a favorites video and as soon as I heard that I got so excited I still need to get it since I haven't been to the big Walmart that stocks hard candy in a while. Sorry for the ramble how's your experience with it? Does it make you feel greasy at all? I have combo skin and I sprayed tatcha in store and I was so sad bc it made me look so shiny and greasy 😢
eyerus I am combo to oily as well, but I don't ind it to be greasy, its more of a soft and dewy feeling. It literally feels hydrating, but if you don't like the feel of something on your skin, then pass. It definitely doesn't look greasy, its just a healthy glow, and it helps your makeup stick as a primer but it still works great after makeup to look less powdery. Its very affordable so I recommend trying it! Personally I use that first as primer, then the setting spray to set at the end. Its an unbreakable glowy look. Lasts ALL day
Thank you for finally talking about the hard candy setting spray! I've used it for a few months now and I LOVE it! But, I'm newer with makeup obsession, I've worn it since middle school, it wasn't something I loved until recently. This was the first setting spray I've ever used and I thought maybe it wasn't great because no one talked about it lol
L’Oreal owns: Maybelline New York, Garnier, Lancôme, Helena Rubinstein, BioMedic, Vichy, Biotherm, Shu Uemura, Kiehl’s, Soft Sheen-Carson, Redken, Matrix, Kerastase, Giorgio Armani, Inneov, Sanoflore, CCB Paris, Dermablend, The Body Shop, Skinceuticals, Ralph Lauren, La-Roche-Posay, and Yves Saint Laurent.
i am just getting into makeup. i NEED a setting spray like nobody's business. i am so thankful i found this video. i too am very oily. so upset i didnt spot that hard candy spray when i was at walmart yesterday, however i will be keeping an eye out. thank you. i look forward to seeing more of your content.
Hard Candy was my very first spray I ever used and love it. Tried others but I always go back to that one or the Wet N Wild which is my 2nd favorite. Ur reviews are spot on. Thank u for doing it!
i love you videos. your testing is always so complete and I really feel like i can trust your advice! I like to watch your videos before i make changes to my makeup routine! You definitely make me feel like an informed shopper!!!
Cheyenne Black I know that. But a lot of ppl use them UNDERNEATH the foundation bc it sets it better. Just look it up. You can find TONS of videos of ppl doing this. I do it all the time with my MAC fix plus spray. And I recently just tried this method with this setting spray and it worked ! Try it!
Robin Lofton everyone thinks that mac fix plus spray is marketed as a setting spray and it's not. It doesn't do a difference using it under. Trust me. Tried it.
Great video!! You covered everything I wanted to know & even compared it to what is my favorite too.. the Skindinavia bridal. I’m so glad I found your video.. can’t wait to watch more!! You have great eyes & I love your makeup in this video!! Thanks
The makeup revolution one at the end is awful for me, it makes my pores look huge and creases my foundation around my mouth, eyes, cupids bow and nose. Its makes my foundation separate a ton and every time i use it, i regret putting it on. It ruins my perfectly good face of makeup. My skin is normal to dry and i would highly suggest staying faaaarrrr away from that setting spray!
Extremely helpful! I'm going to purchase the NYX matte finish spray and the Makeup Revolution Oil Control as they are in the UK! Thanks! Definitely subscribing lol.
Hard Candy was one of my favorite Walmart finds to this day! oh my LAWD! that setting spray WORKED MIRACLES on my face last weekend 💁 Great informative video hun 👍👏
Wow there's so many setting sprays lol. When you have a 20 minute video dedicated to just a few, you don't realize until then how many are actually on the market haha. Thanks for all the hard work you put into these reviews and it's much appreciated! XO
Thanks for the video, it really did help when looking for setting sprays, but just so you know the pixi setting spray wasn't meant to extend wear time. Locking sprays, such as Urban Decay's All Nighter, lock in makeup and extend wear time. Fixing sprays, such as Mac fix plus, just melt in power and give your face a natural, dewy look. I like to combine the two, and I personally love the Pixi spray over the Wet n Wild spray.
I got the loreal Paris setting spray a little less than a year ago, I've used it once and vowed to never use it again because it smells like dude took a crap right before you go in the bathroom in other words it smells a bit like human fesses. I hope they've changed the smell of the loreal Paris setting spray but sh!t does not smell like roses 😂
What an amazing review on setting sprays!! Just what I was looking for, and no one can touch this at all!! Thank you so much, I'm going to subscribe now 😀
I've been wanting to try the Hard Candy setting spray but haven't heard anyone talk about it. Thank you for doing this video. I love Ulta's setting spray I usually put it in the Wet n Wild bottle so it sprays better. Great video XOXO's
I am using Hard Candy setting spray. At the first time, I absolutely suprise because the cucumber smell. However, it do set my makeup very well. I really like it and recommend for anyone wants to buy a drugstore makeup setting spray 👍
Hi Nathalie, I just stumbled across your channel - I saw the title of this video and thought that I would have a look. I am so glad that I did! You are so informative and thorough in your assessment of the different brands. I also appreciate the fact that you took so much time and effort to test all the products and provide a comparative description of them as well as recommendations. You have a new subscriber here and I look forward to your next video. Sending you best wishes from Scotland x
Very Informative! I was looking for a video like this all about drug store setting sprays! I have the Maybeline one & you're right it does smell weird. I bought it cause I really didn't want to spend the extra $$ on the all-nighter but it works okay:)
Wet n wild is my favorite, but I haven't tried all of them. Hard Candy was next on my list to try, do now I'm really excited to try it! I'm a new subscriber - this is your first video I've ever seen. I'm impressed and appreciative of your review style. Excited for more videos!
I bought the hard candy setting spray when i finished the wet n' wild spray, and my experiences were very much alike to what you described, I trust your reviews! Lol subbed 😁
If you are reading this, buy the maybelliene wear boosting setting spray BECAUSE when I use it I go from 5 am - 10 ish pm with no makeup changes its my favorite setting spray and have repurchased at least 20 times in my life
Maybelline and Loreal are made by the same company! That explains why neither seems to work for me despite being very popular. You just validated a lot of headache. Thanks!
Such a great video! I'm new to makeup & I've been so curious about setting sprays. Now I know what to purchase. I really enjoy your reviews. Thank you for testing all of those products! 💗
Thank you, Janet! Trying really hard to get back to a regular schedule. I will do a short update video soon to let you know what has been going on, but I appreciate the support and recommendation.
Hard Candy is great! I got it because of its price and claims. It really does what it claims.I was in a outdoor wedding it was a warm day and of course I cried during the vowels. I was so worried my mascara and foundation would be dripping down my face especially since the photographer was snapping pics of the bridal party. To my surprise my makeup had not budge! I wanted to try a new setting spray since I have only use this in the last year, but forget it... if it's not broke don't fix it lol...
This was so helpful I was actually debating whether i should buy the urban decay all nighter again . or try to find a good one at the drugstore . I'm really going to try the wet and wild one forsure . I've been wanting to try it but you totally convinced me to hurry up. Hahah . thank you for your time to review all these products I also want to try the makeup revolution and hard candy .
I find with all the setting sprays, after some use the spray mechanism starts to become dysfunctional, I found by taking the spray nozzle out and washing it under warm water and spraying warm water through the spray nozzle clears it and works like new again. Xxxx
Glad to see you again! :) Thank you for the info! I actually have the hard candy one and haven't tried it yet, I will definitely be trying it soon now that I've seen this review! :)
Who else reads comments while watching😂
Fat8ma .a me lmfaoo

I really appreciate the act that you take your time to do your videos. Best reviewer on YT. None of these youtubers got nothing on you mama.

Yes, thank you, Jessica. I actually put an amendment in my description bar shortly after publishing the video.
You remind me of Amy Winehouse I loved her !
she reminds me of Amy as well!
yeah her bone structure is really similar
Natalie Zaragoza they look very similar!!
Thank u soooo much! Ur so polite and well spoken and I appreciate u doing all the research to help us pick up the best setting spray for our faces!! ❤️
Aww, thank you so much for such kind words, Kristina! Very much appreciated. Have a beautiful day! XOXO

yes, video needs to have an update
Thats the same thing I was thinking and why i stayed away from pixi because it never actually said setting spray

I really like the NYX matte spray! I have very oily skin, live in Florida as well and work in an ER for 12 hrs so I need something to hold up. Thanks you for another great review!
absolutely, the NYX one has been my holy Grail for years, however I wish it came in a bigger bottle/more product.
I seriously cannot get enough of your comparison videos!! I still need to check out all your other ones ans im sure there just as good!! Your channel deserves soo many more subscribers! Tae Jones the models own works really well
I love how much work you put into this experiment.
I love reviews when there's no bs just a straightforward review and information. Great review. Thank you:)

Was wondering if you could compare drugstore priced loose powders, under $10, and include RCMA and Ben Nye. Thanks again for your hard work!
Sure thing, Phyllis. I think that is a great idea! Thank you for sharing and for your continued support & kindness!!
I love those esp for the undereye area.
I love how you're so informative, thorough and honest in your videos. I am definitely going to check out the Wet and Wild and Hard Candy Setting Sprays! I look forward to watching your reviews!

I'm going to have to try the Wet'n'Wild spray now!
i love how in-depth this video is. Really great!
You never cease to impress me. Ugh, so informative and great!!
Thank you!!
You always blow me away and I can't thank you enough for the content you put out on your channel! Always so thorough and informative! Thank you for finally talking about the hard candy setting spray! I've used it for a few months now and I LOVE it! and now It Cosmetics too
you forgot urban decay.
I'm sure I forgot a few but they have a lot.
agree.
She starts talking about the good ones at 20.12 Sorry, no offence, just for those who's lazy as me. She gave great information though 😊😊😇
Kate Oyun 😂😂😂😂
K O helpful 😅

Lol😭😭😭😭
omg thank you😁 i was looking for this comment
So nice to see you again. Another great, deeply researched, review.
Thank you for such kind words! Glad to be back!
i am just getting into makeup. i NEED a setting spray like nobody's business. i am so thankful i found this video. i too am very oily. so upset i didnt spot that hard candy spray when i was at walmart yesterday, however i will be keeping an eye out. thank you. i look forward to seeing more of your content.
You're voice is so calming 😂
Are you kidding me!!!! This is the best setting spray review you're so informative OMG!!! I'm getting the wet n' wild ASAP! 💕💕
I love the maybelline setting spray way better than even Urban Decay's!
JAIMIE KIGHT have you ever tried it underneath your makeup ? If so how would u compare the wear of maybelline underneath your makeup versus over
Robin Lofton setting sprays are suppose to be used over your foundation? That's the whole point to SET your foundation? Lol
Trust me. Tried it.
Cheyenne Black well it works both ways. That's probably why you haven't seen a difference. I personally like it as a primer.
This spray is for oily skin not dry lmao
I LOVE the makeup revolution matte spray! It's awesome and you can't beat the price! I want to try the illuminating one next.
I own tons of setting sprays...high & low end
(Yes, I'm addicted😩😂) & I must say, HC Fast & Fabulous is my absolute number 1 FAVORITE!! Great video.
I never heard of those😮 I gotta try em
do you have oily or dry skin?
+Marintia Saavedra I have oily/combination skin.
+skorpia g I just love it and the price👌👌
+KiKi L that's great! I have the same skintype so I hope it works on me too :)
Good information as usual. Glad to see you back!
Wow there's so many setting sprays lol. When you have a 20 minute video dedicated to just a few, you don't realize until then how many are actually on the market haha. Thanks for all the hard work you put into these reviews and it's much appreciated! XO
I couldn't help but notice the making faces book in the back I have that book too!!! I love it!
I absolutely love you honest reviews on the products I really needed this lol ❤

So excited to try Hard Candy! I tried Wetnwild loved it!✅ tried Nyx matte, hate it and am using Nyx dewy, living through it. Can't wait to try HC😍😍😍
Very informative video but I'm not sure which are the best ones ?
The BEST setting spray video ever! I'm subscribing! Xoxo
The only setting spray I've used is hard candy so I was so happy to see it at number one! Thanks for the info!
Very Informative! I was looking for a video like this all about drug store setting sprays! I have the Maybeline one & you're right it does smell weird. I bought it cause I really didn't want to spend the extra $$ on the all-nighter but it works okay:)
the pixi glow mist isn't a setting spray... it's not meant for that it's just for getting glowy skin not for setting makeup
Was happy to see you had posted a new video :)
I just got the hard candy one today!
So glad you gave it a good review, can't wait to use it! 😀
Wet n wild is my favorite, but I haven't tried all of them. Hard Candy was next on my list to try, do now I'm really excited to try it!

I bought the hard candy setting spray when i finished the wet n' wild spray, and my experiences were very much alike to what you described, I trust your reviews! Lol subbed 😁
wet and wild is killlling it. I need to try!
Yes they are! Love that brand! It's the first thing I go to when I'm looking at makeup. At my local Walmart, the selection isn't that great though. 😭
Glad to see you back! Love this video, thanks for all of your hard work.. Great Video!
Take care
Vicki
You're voice sounds quite like Sophia Bush. I love it!
Thank you! ; )
yes I love it!! I've been trying to find a good cheap setting spray but don't want to have to keep trying and failing... now I know what to go for!!
If you are reading this, buy the maybelliene wear boosting setting spray BECAUSE when I use it I go from 5 am - 10 ish pm with no makeup changes its my favorite setting spray and have repurchased at least 20 times in my life
Is it matte or dewy finish?
Maybelline and Loreal are made by the same company! That explains why neither seems to work for me despite being very popular. You just validated a lot of headache. Thanks!
Such a great video! I'm new to makeup & I've been so curious about setting sprays. Now I know what to purchase. I really enjoy your reviews. Thank you for testing all of those products! 💗

I watch a lot of videos and rarely comment but this was amazing! So much useful information! Thank you.
You do great reviews. You are very thorough and informative.
i have the NYX in matte and i really like it for a cheaper brand one of my fav
Hard Candy is great! I got it because of its price and claims. It really does what it claims.I was in a outdoor wedding it was a warm day and of course I cried during the vowels. I was so worried my mascara and foundation would be dripping down my face especially since the photographer was snapping pics of the bridal party. To my surprise my makeup had not budge! I wanted to try a new setting spray since I have only use this in the last year, but forget it... if it's not broke don't fix it lol...
Love that one too. Tried 3 others and that one still wins for me!
Found your channel through this video, loved it! Very well spoken👌🏼

Thank you, Maggie! Very appreciated.
I find with all the setting sprays, after some use the spray mechanism starts to become dysfunctional, I found by taking the spray nozzle out and washing it under warm water and spraying warm water through the spray nozzle clears it and works like new again. Xxxx
i have the MUR oil fixing one and skindenvia bridal, I use these interchangeably and then the dewy Nyx one. great video
Thanks for your review. You helped me try to narrow a selection on a setting spray.. loved the video
Glad to see you again! :) Thank you for the info! I actually have the hard candy one and haven't tried it yet, I will definitely be trying it soon now that I've seen this review! :)
