@@vikasedits6687 I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't. As much as I love Taika, I'm just not a fan of Thor's regression into the umpteenth wisecracking comedic relief character in the MCU. Yes, he's had a major character arc, but he's lost some of his identity since Ragnarok. He's been diluted. I feel the gravity of Ragnarok was downplayed due to comedy. It took until Infinity War for him to genuinely reflect on all the grief he has experienced, the loss of his mother, his father, his best friend, his first love, his world. Ragnarok just glossed over it.
Thor can be funny as a fish out of water character. Instead they've made him funny for comedy's sake. That's why I prefer Nebula's development over Thor's.

Good to see Thor at full power for the full duration of a movie again. We've seen this only 3 other times with Thor in the MCU out of the 7-8 appearances he's had.

I loved Thors developement over the years. I went from lowkey disliking this bratty man in Thor 1 to him becoming one of my favourite characters. What Taika did was amazing it made his character way more likeable and relatable.

Chris hemsworth was one of the few actors in Marvel who knew how to play his character 100% and his story is very underestimated, because today Many people thinking only of Wanda or Peter Parker (nothing Against them ofc) but in any case he has always been an interesting character and full of stories to tell

Jane dies gorr dies Thor and gorr s daughter begin their adventures Hercules is sent to kill thor and Jane goes to the afterlife (vahalla) welcomed by Heimdall...the best part was gorr the rest was goofy and very forced Jane was way better as a simple human but testosterone speaks louder unfortunately Thor never changes and now we have two heavens(Marvel is all over the place there's no stakes coerency or credibility since endgame honestly)this movie has more Disney within than Marvel actually but see for yourselfs(Two heavens (field of reeds and vahalla) ...Two heavens (field of reeds and vahalla)

Amazing how the Thor franchise delivered an amazing. Shakespearen Thor in an epic fantasy film and a funny space opera.
I just hope there are some really serious emotional scenes in this movie like Endgame and Infinity War. We need those inspiring gut wrenching moments

I liked the first Thor but even I have to admit, Taika telling Chris to just be himself and not so serious to make Thor funny was an important thing that made Thor: Ragnarok enjoyable!

In Endgame, he was played for laughs through the first act of the film so that in the second act when cracks started to show and when he finally broke after Natasha died, it was even more impactful.
He was used to show the impact of depression and grief on a person. He's not a parody. He just isn't a flat character anymore. He's dynamic. He has layers. He can be ignoring the mission to go look for ale one minute and sobbing in the arms of his mother the next.
This film is going to be dealing with him at his most human point yet. And human is exactly what is needed to defeat a god-butcher. He's never been played for laughs carelessly. It's always been for a clear, specific purpose, and as we saw in Ragnarok, Waititi knows when to stop playing for laughs to make a character like Hela truly intimidating. And from what we've seen and what we've heard from actors, Gorr won't just be intimidating. He's gonna be terrifying
