I went to Scotland on my honeymoon. BC tape in the rented car...
My heart, my soul, my senses never left Scotland. It's like having visited home without the chance of returning here.
Scots I love ya! I love your country! I love Big Country!
    Miss ya Stuart.

"Restless Natives" belongs to another class altogether. When I hear it I want to march down the street in a kilt, with my face painted as a saltire, waving a huge lion rampant and reciting the Declaration of Arbroath.

Big Country was a creative and original group of artists. It was a sad day when Stuart Adamson died. I followed them from 1983 to present. Being an American and living in the U.S., I rarely heard there music on the radio. Just as well, I never wanted them to sell out. They instilled pride in my Scottish Heritage, and exposed in there music, especially, "Steeltown" and the "Buffalo Skinners", the corruption in politics. "We're Not In Kansas", and "The Selling of America" are spot on.
