    Hi, I only have Blue, Brown and Black Wire. So Live, Neutral and ?? Is that enough and what wire is for what?

    • @LaPalmeraie0032
      @LaPalmeraie0032  6 месяцев назад

      Hi! On should be the switch wire that goes back to the boiler, where there should be 2. You could try to find these wires at your boiler itself to see how they are connected and use the installation manual of the boiler to check. If you’re sure you better ask a professional (plumber or electrician) because doing it wrong could blow the whole boiler computer. Maybe you can combine this check with the yearly service 😉

    So if you set it to floor and air sensor, which one it uses to control the temperature

    • @LaPalmeraie0032
      @LaPalmeraie0032  Месяц назад

      Good question. What I read on the FAQ’s is this: you can use the internal sensor to control the temperature and the external sensor to do the floor overheating protection(optional). Or you can use the external sensor to control the temperature, at which point it will no longer be used for floor overheat protection detection. This sensor option function is supported by Meross app.

    Hi I brought the same one , but I have only two wires (N & L)from my old thermostat, so how should I connect, can anyone guide me, because there is 5 connections…(N, L,NO,NC,COM)… so where I connect the L and N…. ?

      @palikariena7292 hi! I thought I had aswered. Sorry for letting you wait. You need at least the COM and NC/NOC wires as well. The L and N are only to provide the power to the thermostat but the other two are to communicate with the boiler. It seems that your actual setup is different and the communication is wireless of some sort? I’m afraid this smart thermostat is not suited for your personal set up.

    Hi I brought the same one , but from my old thermostat I got only Two wires (N & L), but in my smart thermostat it shows 5 connections( N, L, NO, NC & COM) + sensors points…. And mine is a combi boiler ( Ideal brand)….So where should I connect the wires, can you please guide me to connect in simple way… please 🙏….

      Hi! I’m not sure this setup will work. It saus clearly that you need the switch wires (NO or NC and COM as well in order to communicate with your boiler. To be 100% sure please contact the Meross support team. They are really responsive and willing to help. If it is not possible (what I fear) resell it and look for a smart termostat that works specificly for your setup. The needed wires are always clearly mentioned. Check this before buying.

      To what are these wires connected on your actual thermostat? The L/N ports or the COM ports?

      @@LaPalmeraie0032 Thanks for the video and your quick reply. I just mounted the thermostat for my floor heating, and for both NO and NC it is written in the wizard :
      "Step2: Connect terminal 2 and terminal 5
      with the included bridging wire." That's why I was surprised when I watched your video. It's not needed only if you have a Boiler :-)

      :) I think it still is OK. I couldn't break the wall open to provide the place needed and it isn't that bad compared to the previous analog thermostat.
