Been a fan of Lauren's since the BBC show and only found out today that she's in the American Tour - you lucky people!! she's fantastic
everyone’s talking about how lauren reminds them of the 2007-2010 elphies and i just wanna talk about how the camerawork and quality here is so so SO reminiscent of bootlegs from that era too like the zoom in during „and if i’m flying solo“ and zoom out during „no wizard that there is or was“

The best Elphaba I have ever heard, and the best acted. No one will ever come close; just outstanding. Going to be in New York in July 2025. GOD, I really hope she will be on Broadway. I’m sure she will be by then!!!!
Was in tears when Lauren was sing Defying Gravity yesterday at Princess of Wales Theater for Wicked also honor have seen her as my first Elphaba I've seen on stage also Austin be my first Glinda.

I really like this. I like that the stakes feel high in the scene, and I like that she is bringing a lot of energy and witchiness when she flies. This will be a great cast.
I'm so glad they are giving new girls the chance to play these roles on tour and broadway instead of recycling some of the same women who have played the role for a decade or longer ❤❤❤

I understand Wicked want the show to have as long of a run as possible before closing but I think sometimes they don't realise that recycling old Elphaba standbys/understudies and bumping them up to lead isn't the be all and end all of how Wicked survives as a show. Wicked needs fresh faces to keep it going such as Hannah Corneau, Lindsay Pearce, Liza DeGuzman and Lauren Samuels. People staring out in the role for the very first time and exploring new depths to Elphaba that aren't just inspired by previous Elphaba's.
Lauren is giving Jackie Burns eyes and I’m so here for it. Brilliant acting and voice!
I have loved Lauren since she was on Over the Rainbow in the UK years ago and she's just phenomenal, this made me emotional! She absolutely smashes this amazing vocals and acting on point all through!

I can hear it 💯 on the first lines when she says: this must be the attic, we have to barricade the door. And on the first few lines of the song. So much so I first thought this was the west end production. But then the accent disappeared for the most part lol. But shes so good I don’t mind at all
