Mitch and Scott had a side channel called Superfruit. You'd really enjoy their cover of Feelin' Myself (Nicky Minaj + Beyonce)! Mitch does a mean Nicky!! Their 'Hip-Hop goes Broadwoay' (2 parts to that) should also be right up your alley! Also, if you enjoy fast-paced songs, I recommend PTX's 90s Dance Medley and their original song 'Sing'.

Actually, this entire video was shot in one location - Mount St. Mary's University in the mountains near Los Angeles. It's the same location where, the year following this video, Avi, along with PTX producer/arranger Ben Bram, and their friend, composer/arranger Rob Dietz founded the A Cappella Academy, an annual 10-day intensive vocal music camp for 12 to 18-year-olds from around the world where they have classes in vocals, performance, theory, and specialties like beatboxing and bass singing (which Avi has taught almost every year since its 2014 founding). I had to jump over here, because I knew you guys would LOVE this one and I don't mind the "nattering." The story goes that the different scenery and wardrobe represents the person who is at the forefront. Kevin has a deep connection with his church, Kirstie was kind of a "goth" chic in her youth (and she did appear on Broadway), Scott is kind of a "skater boy", Mitch kind of nerdy and Avi is the "nature boy" who grew up loving the outdoors. To me, it's one of their most fun videos!! Their skill is what shows in this one!

You should check out their cover of Thrift Shop (another Macklemore /Ryan Lewis song). It was done when PTX was really young but it’s very good!
If you look up "Pentatonix airport," they do Thriftshop into the PA microphone of one of the gate attendants. It's obviously not the best recording but it's really fun.

Want more Avi? Check out PTX's Run to You, Say Something, Light in the Hallway (live is the only version), and for his solo stuff, I'd start with Quarter Past Four as that is his original song he wrote after deciding to split from them but was still finishing up their tour. After that, Change on the Rise will knock your socks off! (He does all the vocal parts plus most of the percussion.)

For another rap video, check out Thrift Shop (another Macklemore and Ryan Lewis cover) - it's a Babytonix video, with them all sitting on a couch the way they did when they were starting out putting out videos on RUclips. But make sure you stay for the outro - Kirstie has a surprise for you!

There is a behind the scenes video that goes with this 1. You get to see where they are filming all of this. PTX does occasionally do behind the scenes video so you might want to check 1st. 1st end of the video since early about it's 3 minutes long., the prayer, prayer for this world all have behind the scenes. Those are The ones I remember off the top of my head. Yes you must still check out Superfruit

Scott can double on bass when Avi - or nowadays, Matt - have a solo. He's got like a 5-octave range or something ridiculous like that. Also see their cover of Ariana Grande's Problem, and then Mitch and Scott as Superfruit (their side project, 2012-2017) covering Feeling Myself by Nicki Minaj (feat. Beyoncé).

To answer your question... I'm not sure, but it's possible. Just understand, this particular video was early in their career. It's quite possible that they revisited some of these locations for future videos.

You're right about at least one of the settings for all the different leads. One of them, with Avi as lead, is the hillside where they did Little Drummer Boy. The one with Scott in lead maybe the place they filmed Valentine, but I'm not sure on that.The church with Kevin as lead might be the same place they filmed O Come All Ye Faithful, but again, not sure. The other scenes I don't think are backgrounds for other vids.

Superfruit is a side project that Mitch and Scott ran for about 6 years. They did chats, challenges, and lots of fun with friends.... and songs!! There was eventually a couple of albums out : Future Friends l & ll. The songs, chats and fun stuff were awesome and very varied. It's totally worth exploring that channel!

Great reaction for a very fun song. They show how much they love singing. I bet their music and drama teachers hated when they graduated. Gotta give some credit to their school teachers, not just all of the other vocal lessons. They did learn about singing in school too.
Sadly so many schools in America have taken a lot of the arts out of the curriculum. Guess they just can’t stand for kids to have fun. 🥴

Funny you were expecting Avi or Kevin to rap because they have a lower voice. I wouldn't think that having a lower voice means you can rap more easily. Avi is apparently the only member of the band who said he can't rap. And Kevin doesn't have a lower voice. He's a tenor while Scott is a baritone, so Kevin has a higher range than Scott. Scott covers the bass when Avi or Matt take the lead
