Here is a short film made up from my camcorder footage of the 1997 Southern 100 motorcycle road races in the Isle of Man. It's filmed around the paddock area and features Joey, Robert and Owen McNally. I think it illustrates beautifully the informality of the road racing paddocks and how spectators can mingle freely with their heroes. And there was no greater hero in motorcycle racing than Joey Dunlop! Sadly all three of them are gone now, but what great memories they left behind!

Not like the madonas you see these days "is my bike ready to ride can some one bring it to the grid for me " etc etcThese men new their bikes inside out Old school yes
but nothing wrong with that !! R.I.P. to those no longer with us and all our thoughts go to those left behind it must be very very difficult ..
