FFP rules is most definitely ruining Football for the clubs and everyone connected to it simply has to change
Callum Wilson time at our club is sadly done for me I would keep Isak at our club for at least one more season
We definitely need to sign another striker in the Summer transfer window
Hopefully Bruno will still be at our club for next season he has been Class this season

We need to now get a DOF in asap and start preparations for the summer now so we are ready for all situations with players incomings and outgoings. We can’t be slow in deciding things as this will cost us in the long run. As for Bruno I think he will stay IF we are in Europe only, if not then unfortunately he will leave as he is too good not to play in Europe.

Its getting to the stage where non cartel clubs need start looking at other options, outside of the FA if need be and restart a new football Tier which works for everyone as this cant go on or it will not be any football as we know it in this country before to much longer. sounds harsh and theatrical
, but im so fed up of it.

      @leechefski Месяц назад

Maybe that's what the PL and their cartel want. The other 14 teams scoot off and leave the Big Six in their own "super league", but they're the heroes and we're the villains.

Agree with you on this. PL will suffer if something else is not done. It will be Liverpool Man United and Tottenham behind this. Clubs all with money issues in some form and need money from europe each year for their financial model. Its all to stop us villa and new entrants from displacing the status quo. CF is a must this window and we need to give Isak rest. Rotation is key for his fitness.Selling some of the lesser players will give us cash for recruitment which if we use to bring in better players may help with Bruno as it will show our intent particularly if we are ruthless with the cull.

I remember in the late 80's that there was talk about the Division One clubs were going to walk away from the Football League and start-up with their own (with the FA). I wonder what would happen if those who are outside the 'Toxic 6' who were happy to leave the Premier League set up their own league, associated to the Football League and omitted the Toxic 6 from being invited?

Need to let go of Wilson - Great Player but available less than 50% of the time, and only on top form a few games of the season! Should have a nibble at that Ekiteke kid again and another 'already finished article' also - we need three running on a cycle, just to minimise injuries and strains. Our Midfield was dessimated this season - but will be strong again next year (and Bruno will stay - I'm sure of it!). We need a right winger for up front also, along with bringing in Miteh (let Miggy go). Then, just a couple of decent first team centre-backs. Always love the show and content!

I think Bruno will stay a long with Big Joe last week Eddie made very interesting comments first time he spoke about his ambitions for the club no body hears from PIF but I thought Eddie was making a point I think he wants better quality players to play but when Amanda spoke it was about a project buying young players and improving them.
With PIF it’s hard Eddie loves Bruno and Big Joe he said it wasn’t just about Europe it was about Ambition meaning better players.
I Think Eddie was putting it out there they no doubt Eddie has Ambition he wants to be up there and still think with all the problems and injuries he doing an incredible job .He say he has ambitious plans but says it’s going to be difficult depending on many things.
I would sell Miggy , Wilson ,Murphy Fraser Kraft and Longstaff but we still need depth so not be easy.Eddie I Trust.🌑⚽️ still tempted to keep Longstaff as squad player.

We need to build a team around Isak - with better service, he could get 25 goals in the PL. We'll have to buy shrewdly, and I trust Eddie to do that. And seriously, I think there are two options for the club - either a complete SJP redevelopment or build an 80,000 seater stadium and really sweat that asset. It's unfortunately all about money these days, and we've got to really build those revenue streams...

Bit of a rant coming........The FFP farse and Premier league favouritism to the so called historical top 6 clubs or I’d go as far to say their monopoly is strangling the quality of the Premier leagues global appeal. This must change or the Premier league will lose global tv fees. That from a business strategy simply does not stack up. There must be grounds for our owners and other clubs owners to take action against the premier league for restriction of trade or similar. When the luxury tax headline was broke earlier this week I really thought we could now build upon our quality players, move a few out ( even at a loss), buy new players and start competing with a squad to cater for fixtures and injuries etc. If the current FFP rules don’t change this summer in time to allow free trade ( for want of a better phrase) the bulk of the main premier league clubs should come together and take action through the courts or create a new league. The Premier league cartel is really pissing me off.....don’t even get me started on how the Premier league asked the old school top 6 if they would object to Newcastle being bought. Got absolutely fuck all to do with them twats. Cartel wankers....rant over ( for now). Keep up the great work Toon Review.

I’d love to have Isak, zirkzee and Morgan Whittaker for striker options next season.
I’d rather sell Wilson, longstaff to make a little bit of money.
    BRUNO STAY 🤞🏽
    ISAK STAY 🤞🏽

I think Bruno really does love the club. The kissing of the badge is genuine. But I still think he leaves in the summer. His post conference wasn’t convincing at all

Let's go out an blow half a billion! Our 'Punishment' can't be anywhere near what Chelsea or Man City are going to get! Plus, it'll not go down as debt - though the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs will still be in more debt than we could spend! How can that be sustainable?

Baffles the mind really. Bring in the luxury tax and then disseminate that between the EFL, woman’s football and also grass roots

And tbh the so called cartel clubs shouldn’t even be allowed to vote they are obviously going to be a no vote they don’t want other clubs getting in there way and the league should be doing more to make it a level playing field

The Premier League will never, ever, ever, EVER do anything that could help NUFC or any other club close the gap to the so-called "big six". The rumour that 17 of the 20 clubs were in favour of the "luxury tax" is all the incentive they needed to ensure that proposal never went to a vote. If 17 clubs were rumoured to have been against it, they would've opened voting already.
As for Isak, he missed a total of 28 games (including internationals) in SEVEN YEARS before he signed for Newcastle, and only five of those were during his three seasons at Sociedad. I wouldn't call that injury prone. Like so many other NUFC players, he hasn't been given proper recovery time, so his injuries are either recurring or linked (groin, thigh). Fortunately, we haven't completely broken him yet, unlike Joelinton and Botman.

What the hell are they wanting to make changes if they still going to keep it basically the same rule of points deduction for over spending to stop you improve the quality of your team for me 😡😡

Did you really believe clubs would vote for the fines for fiddling the rule's would ever happen. Why would honest clubs want to give sovereign state run clubs the chance to just throw cash about inflating wages and sales prices and not feel it in the pocket due to endless funding. Stupid it was ever even considered

How come Man Utd are 640 million in debt and nothing is said about them when they lay big big bucks out on a single player. Why are no clubs outside the alleged 6 super powers allowed to spend what the hell they like to make their clubs more competitive, can’t stand this closed shop with those running the Premier league stifling and frustrating, corruption at the highest level..
