Before I start teaching, I watch her lectures. It gives me confidence to teach better in my class. Her lectures are like energy drinks for me. Thank you MIT.
The more you get to the end, the less people are watching most of these courses. Sad. Being from a third world country, these things are golden to me. A finished a bunch of them already.
same thing to me, I am from south america and this lessons help me a lot I study chemistry but I also improves my english this motivates me to one day try my graduate course in mit
Same here, this course was and still is a life saver for me during general chem 1 and 2. I used to watch all of them for chem 1, but now just use it as a reference whenever I face a difficult topic. It also motivates me to try my best to get into MIT for my grad program or similar universities.
I love this course and it has helped me immensely. But the times when Dr Drennnan is pointing at the screen with the camera is on just her (and not the screen) we miss all of the highlightings, and because of this, the slide is up for all of about a minute. All makes it frustratingly difficult to follow at times.
While this is not the same as having a recording of the screen, we do have lecture notes for the lecture. They might be of help: ocw.mit.edu/courses/chemistry/5-111sc-principles-of-chemical-science-fall-2014/unit-iii-thermodynamics-chemical-equilibrium/lecture-20/ Best wishes on your studies!
at minute 22 no2w she talks os climate change...ten years before the same person talked about rise of temperature since this raise did not happen now they talk )lie= about climate change. Poor people.

Her T-shirts are another big reason for me watching her lectures

I feel exactly the same way. It is very frustrating. This lecture is not like any former lectures
I still feel very frustrated.
