Omg, they use gayageum sounds for the car?? That's so cool! Love to see little heritage touches like that in cars (even though I could agree it might get annoying after long enough); Lincoln is doing the same thing with their cars in the U.S. I wish Ssangyong would come here; they'd do great!
It's got nicer noises than it's competitors What it needs, better economy or more power for the same economy, it's a great value for money car. Debating on upgrading from my Ibiza to either a korando or Tivoli
Forgive me if I missed it but despite mentioning on more than one occasion that the auto gearbox isn't as good as it could be, you failed to mention the option of having a manual gearbox mated to either the petrol or diesel engine, as long as you don't specify 4x4.
@@Hope2421 still wayyy too expensive and that's why they sell nothing. I only see Dusters, tons of Dusters, or RAV4s, CX5 and tons of pseudo 4x4 from the VW conglomerate. The point is if people have 30-40k to spend they go for a well-known brand. . Resell value is another factor. I can sell a used RAV4 in a heartbeat.
@@longdonglarry Duster are cheap shite and the reason that there aren’t many about is because of the small dealer network not because they are no good, have you driven one ? I suspect no is the answer, as for resale value they have the same residual value as the other cars in that market. Sales are increasing and once people get their heads out of the sand and try one they soon realise the quality and kit they get for the money.
Buying this car was and is the biggest mistake of my life.... fuel consumption is very poor on a 1.6 diesel. If anyone is thinking about buying this car should think 10 times before buying it. A full tank of fuel which is about £45 ,gets you up to 105 miles in town. Very poor fuel consumption. Don't get fooled by this fancy video.
I've driven vw and mercedes for the last 13 years.....recently, I bought a 2016 korando and must say, very surprised. I really like it.
How was the reliability ? Any parts replaced ?
@@gutadin5 all good so far, no problems.
Really best value for
money's car 👍

A very crisp review. You could have mentioned that this is a turbo petrol.
Nice review Jack. Simple and well presented 👍.
Could you a comparison between Korando and Seltos, for the top spec petrol models.
Thanks once again..
Sorry but the seltos isn't in the UK
As ever if you drive it sensibly the gearbox and car are great.
how much did you say this car consumes ? 33 miles per gallon (one gallon is equivalent to 3.78541178 liters) are you serious?

A lot of car for the money 👍
here in spain sticker price for the 4x4 version is 38k which is RAV4, CX5, CRV territiry. a 4x4 duster just under 20k. who the F.. buys a Sanglong?
@@longdonglarry two points, it’s a better car than you mention and in Spain 4x4 version €32400 before discounts.
