The buildup to that third goal, the header by Giorgio, was a full minute of beautiful football by Atlanta that you don't get to see in these highlights. All you see here is the perfect cross in by Lennon and the exquisite finish by Giorgio but there was a full minute of pretty game by the whole Atlanta team on the pitch that began deep in their own end.

I want to go to a game in Atlanta. They have a great fan base and attendance since they can get at least 60,000 people a game. How do they do it?
Winning the cup in your first season is a great way to get people invested. I imagine the dejection of Falcons fans also contributes

What were those 2 penalty calls? The revs should’ve had one down the other end they just played terrible but that didn’t help
Great goals! Is that artificial grass on the field??? It looks so. I hope it is not. Soccer is played on natural grass, period.
That 2nd penalty was such a ridiculous call. There was twice Atlantas defense handled the ball equally as much and there was no call. I just want consistency in calls from refs. Game woulda ended 3-4 if it was called consistently. Or 1-3. Revs woulda lost but would've at least had a real chance.
Best part was how the ball hit the Israeli flag at the end.

Just under 68,000. They pack out every home game. Especially the home opener. 3rd highest of the match day behind Bayern and Man United.
It was 68,000 people which still is an huge huge number in the world given the passion ATL fans have and the fact that they have been playing good so far this season, 3 games. Regardless how many fans they have, they certainly know how to make noise!
