    I bought a dindinmodern speaker last time. Although it is not perfect, it is the best among the products at the same price.

    I wonder if there is much difference when playing music with a direct cable or using bluetooth. As far as I know, bluetooth compresses the audio and depending on the bluetooth chip the quality can differ. I know there are bluetooth chips specific for audio like aptX HD, which has 24bits of resolution compared to the regular bluetooth of 16bits.

      I don't think there would be any noticable difference on this speaker. I've been using Bluetooth for music playback in my car for more than 10 years and it's been always good enough, even in a 1st generation Volvo C70 with factory fitted Dynaudio speakers.

    I´m planning on building streaming speaker with RPI+amp+volumion+touchscreen and the same Visaton FRS8m speakers. Can you tell me volume of this box? I´m also planning on using two small pasive radiator with no bassreflex tube.

      Forget these speakers. They are not worth the effort at all.
      I will have to dig up my Fusion360 design to tell the volume or the bass reflex port dimensions. However, you might want to recalculate the parameters because you’ll be using a closed box instead of a vented one.

      @@OrangePowerOP get an Ikea Symfonisk speaker for 129€ (product no. 505.065.87). It's made by Sonoff for Ikea, sounds much better than anything DIY in that size could.
      If you still want to build it yourself, check out the Hertz CX100 speakers. The manufacturer gives you all the TS parameters to calculate the ideal enclosure size.

      @@AttilaSVK Only problem for ikea simfonisk is that you need tablet or phone to control it. I want speaker that is standalone, this is because I'm building one with rasperrry pi with touchscreen and amp.

      No, I don’t use any stuffing. It’s not required by the design of the speaker, since it would not benefit from a larger enclosure, and stuffing is for virtually enlarging the size of the enclosure (because air moves slower in wool than in free air).
      My box calculations say that -3dB point is at 90 Hz, and by ear it’s correct.

      @@AttilaSVK én úgy tudtam a bélelés nem hang futásidejének növelésére szolgál (azaz nem a virtuális dobozméret növelés), hanem mint akusztikus csillapítás. Egyrészt a belső visszhang okozta akusztikus visszacsatolást csökkenti, másfelől (lévén ez egy bassz-reflex dobo) a doboz sajátfrekenciájának hangolását segíti: a magas hangok terjedését, ide-oda verődését gátolja a doboz belesejében, miközben a mélyhangok számára (amelyek miatt a reflex nyílás és a reflexcső beleterveződött) akusztikailag transzparens marad...

      @ igen, ha viszonylag vékony réteget viszel fel a doboz belső falaira, akkor valóban csak csillapító funkciót tölt. Fentebb a "stuffing" főnév alapján én egy jól megtömött dobozt képzeltem el, amely viszont már térfogatnövelőként is viselkedik.
      A puding próbája az evés, hangfalé pedig a megépítés és a mérés :)
