Proxies typically deliver faster connectivity than VPNs, mainly because they direct only specific traffic through their servers. In contrast, VPNs encrypt all online activity, leading to potential speed reductions due to increased traffic. Zeus Proxy stands out by offering a rotating residential proxy, perfect for various activities such as e-commerce multi-account registrations, data crawling, airdrops, and gaming.
I was thinking of using a different VPN that's secure enough, but also doesn't slow down my internet nor interfere with streaming. I've been using Surf Shark for a while, but I feel like I should go for something more reliable than something commonly found in paid sponsorships.
i use expressvpn, but it's not great for streaming. i realize you wrote that 5 months ago so you probably found one, but if you or anyone considers it, it's not absolutely terrible, just sometimes drops connection while on stream
@@TemRMRF Actually I didn't find a better one. I'm still using SurfShark because it's the most stable one I've tried thus far. The only thing is that streaming services won't work with it turned on.
@@TemRMRF I don't know. I had little issue with it, but I have no idea about its background. I will say I've had a better experience with it than both ExpressVPN and NordVPN, since it doesn't usually slow down my internet.
No really. Both can unblock geo restrictions. The biggest differences is that the VPN encrypt the content, slowing the connection while the Proxy just redirect the traffic into another region, unencrypted. If you are doing something legally questionable like torrenting you’ll likely want to encrypt the traffic using a VPN so nobody* can know who you really are. * it’s not particularly realistic that nobody will know as many services keep certain logs that can then be correlated and in someway say who the user was, yet of course, supposedly the best known VPN Provider don’t stored logs of any kind, again big asterisk***
One thing thought I forget to mention is that companies use VPN cuz they don’t want there documents to be hanging around for free in internet. For example if you are working remotely as a CEO with the latest not yet released earning reports you wouldn’t ideally like for those documents to be intercept bu a third party.
Jeremy got you a pretty good explanation here. So yes, proxies are useful when you need to unblock content but if you're looking for a service that can protect your privacy and give more security, you should consider using a VPN. If you're particularly concerned about activities you're doing online, make sure a VPN has a strict no-logs policy 👊
Unfortunately, proxies offer limited security and privacy options. Plus, they usually log your activity and are often not encrypted 😕 Maybe you could try buying a VPN for a month with a 30-day money-back guarantee?
VPNpro thanks for the reply, I changed my ip and it’s not happening anymore but I just don’t want to run into them again because there’s isn’t much I can do.

I've only heard, that people use proxies for bots and scraping. I personally use VPN (sometimes), for Hulu or purchasing video games with discounts

proxies are useful when it comes to seo and stuff, vpns for remote working and unblocking stuff (restrictions). right?
