That’s an excellent idea! I’m always impressed by how the private property owners always work with *Adventures With Purpose!* The FBI could provide them with an Honorary Designation. Maybe the *Coast Guard* would be a better fit. *Semper Paratus!* I envision them providing training via You Tube to LE on subjects such as lift bags, use of sonar, etc., grid searchers and vehicle recovery within a body of water. The cross training opportunities are endless!

@@thomasschmitthomesteadproj6025 I dont think they have had alot that they butt heads with at least one for sure and a few kinda wishy washy at the time especially if it was by accident, they should be given a little more leeway from here on out with what they have already done, FBI and stuff is tricky and I'm sure as much as they do this for families they also have their own to think about ,maybe if they do get any award from this having to be able to do some upgrades and such will be helpful with time among other things,I think it is a huge life change if they decided to make it their full time job ..but we will have to wait and see how and where things go from here,getting too many ppl involved will take away of who they are and the reasons why they do what they do, right now up untill said car is found they mostly get to call their own shots ..upgrading their gear and vehicle will be much helpful if it comes to that, right now I think they need to just get home when they say they will and take things from there
One thing I think the public should understand is at no time does awp ever ask the family for money in regards to the recovery. I've seen many many videos where the family is embarrassed to have to ask at the very beginning what this is going to cost and Jared is always so kind let them know that there is absolutely no cost to them. These guys have great hearts.
Having personally met Jared a while back, he is exactly what he appears. He pulls no punches and is totally dedicated to this project. Jared, Sam, and Dan are really awesome and dedicated people. Another group in Georgia, Exploring With Nug, has also joined this movement. They are just starting out, but have worked on recovery with AWP, as has Chaos Divers. This movement is slowly catching on nationwide. Cleaning up our lakes and rivers and bringing resolution to the families of the missing they have found. Not knowing what has happened to a loved one is truly horrible. I think a huge Thanks should go out to the tow truck companies and operators who are volunteering their equipment & time to help out also. The folks who are sending donations in for this project need a HUGE thanks also. Without them, this could not be happening.
Jared, Sam, Dan and other diving friends are wonderful guys who go above and beyond to help people. The viewers that donate help with equipment and expenses, so they can do this. They deserve much thanks and love. :)

They deserve it. They looked where cops gave up looking. And BTW they went to Iowa twice to find him. They will use the reward for equipment to help find more missing people in vehicles submerged in water. This is a huge need in missing people searches. PDs and sheriffs need this assistance even though North Carolina cops were too arrogant to accept help. Families deserve to get their loved ones home for a proper burial. And BTW a body in a submerged car contaminating water is not meant to be. Love 💛🧡❤ you Jared. So glad you are doing what you do best❣

If you don't watch these guys on RUclips I strongly suggest you do. I started watching them when they were just pulling cars out of the water. Now they're helping solve cold cases and all as volunteers for the families. They're some the most genuine nice dudes I have ever seen.

These guys are great. So far, since I've discovered their channel myself about two weeks ago, I've seen them find THREE people who were missing for multiple years each, by sweeping into town and live streaming their search efforts, resulting in getting the families of these people much needed closure, when the local Law Enforcement, for whatever reason, couldn't. Despite their efforts. They deserve all the respect and especially SUPPORT that they can get, "Adventures With Purpose" They're on RUclips, uploading AMAZING new content every week, if not every day, and putting their skills to use in arguably the most worthwhile way possible. Even a subscription, a watch, a like or a share of one of their videos is an easy way to show them some support. So, that's what I would suggest, if you care. These are the kinds of stories we NEED right now, during this particularly divisive, trying times. 👍😇

Several years ago there was a guy that had been missing for 5 years. Through the five years, leads had been exhausted. One summer while fishing near the north boat ramp at Little Wall Lake a lady felt she had a fish on her line, while reeling in her line she saw she had a shoe, i won't say anymore, I think you get the picture. The guy had been in his car submerged for 5 years. Had Jared and Sam been around doing this, I'm sure they would have been called.
I hope Jared and Sam also consider professional help after some of these discoveries, finding a few of these vehicles with bodies in them can be traumatic and may take a toll on them down the road without that kind of help.

Pretty sure the family's reward is having their son returned to them. They just released the video for the discovery of the car, they noted in the comments that the major reward had expired supposedly and the family actually gave them a small reward on their own accord.

Head's up on the Salida woman missing. Just south of Alamosa at least 3 sets of remains were discovered buried on abandoned properties in the last week. I'm not suggesting your MP is one of them by any means but they are unidentified at this time. A suspect in that discovery is in custody.

All of the AWP fans need to start looking for vehicles and don’t always trust the cops use google earth if you find anything get ahold of adventures with purpose and let’s start looking.
In defense of cops, they do the best they can with their limited resources. However, sometimes it is difficult to tell where a car and its driver have gone to. Unless there is certainty about a possible location then the rest is a mystery.

The search for cars underwater might be niche, but the existence of cars underwater is very common. Practically every body of water with a boat ramp has cars underwater. These guys have found up to 20 cars within 100 yards of just one public boat ramp. Insurance fraud, stolen vehicle dumping, crime scene evidence disposal, suicide, or simply a salvage yard dumping the shell of a car after selling all of the usable parts. All anyone needs is a public boat ramp and 10 minutes of nobody watching and a car is underwater. So much pollution goes into the water when a car is dumped. Every fluid slowly leaks into the habitat. Jared and Sam have designed their own lift bag system to float even the heaviest vehicles. It would be amazing to have some rich philanthropist fund these guys on a large scale.
Using magnet fishing around boat docks or potential areas of interest can also assist in saying "maybe" and could be followed up by someone with a sonar.
So glad they were able to give his family answers. Not closure many people believe it will give their family closure when their found but it really never gives closure. To many questions that will never be answered so pleased don't say give the family closure. My son died 2016 no closure.
So why 7 years later...someone came forward and said "hey your in the wrong spot." When they knew 7 years earlier they were looking. Why not say something then??? What is they person hiding? Very glad he was possibly found. Finally the family can have closure.

These Divers really are amazing people with brave and humble hearts that keep them helping families in time of hurt and sadness,and bring them peace
So glad they were able to give his family answers. Not closure many people believe it will give their family closure when their found but it really never gives closure. To many questions that will never be answered so pleased don't say give the family closure. My son died 2016 no closure.
So why 7 years later...someone came forward and said "hey your in the wrong spot." When they knew 7 years earlier they were looking. Why not say something then??? What is they person hiding?
