10 WORST SINGLE PLAYER Games of 2023

- From its first month to its last, 2023 has delivered some truly incredible games across a variety of genres, on all platforms, and from developers from throughout the industry- so much so, in fact, that it’s easily going to go down as one of gaming’s best and most packed years.
At the same time, however, there hasn’t been any shortage of shockingly bad games either. Over the course of the year, we’ve played quite a few awful single player experiences that we’re going to want to forget all about as soon as possible, from major AAA titles to smaller games with much smaller ambitions. Here, we’re going to talk about a few such solo stinkers that have stood out for all the wrong reasons.

Gollum is such a masterpiece of fail. It is honestly one of those games that is so inept that it needs to be experienced.

I still think the funniest thing about Rise of Kong is the fact that it manages to make you look like a perfectly normal sized gorilla
You just missed out on the Game Mill Trifecta with Avatar: Quest for Balance. The publisher clearly cares about quantity over quality when they impose immutable one-year development deadlines. That sort of schedule could work on the NES with experienced developers, but not on modern systems with high graphical expectations.
3 of this will be on some RUclips channel next year named "10 games that started bad or 10 games that are hidden gems"

Call of duty modern warfare 3 campaign was so bad and garbage and a complete waste of time.

@@grandgamer605 lol I can agree with that but man oh man as a fan of the original modern warfare 3 and its story it kind of breaks my heart that reboot of modern warfare 3 took that story and butchered it badly really badly in my opinion.

Black ops 4 didn’t even have one. That’s a multiplayer game these days. The campaign is an after thought . If you buy cod of a 3 hour campaign thats on you

cod players are bottom of the barrel gamers. although the worst game of the series, and making this list, it still topped the sales chart

What I don't understand the most is why we were given a port of Arkham Knight for the considerably weaker Nintendo Switch instead of a much needed remaster for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Missed opportunity. Can you imagine how much better the game would look with Unreal Engine 5 software? Missed opportunity

Immortals Of Aveum on Series X is the worst looking/playing game I've played this year. I have played games from 2013 that literally look better (like Bioshock Infinite).
