Awesome ... sportsmanship at its best ... every cricketer must see and listen to Sir Gary’s communication style ... sheer awesome ... listen to his advise to youngsters at end.
My God, just look at how beautifully these tree Gentlemen have spoken, they are fluent, their composition of words & their oration is perfect. Not todays sportsmen aka showmen.
Really fantastic..Sir Gary Sobers wis such a great player,I hv listened his many test cricket commentaries on radio...from 1965 to 1972...there will not be such a finest allrounder in the cricket world again..Hats off to Gary..My very fav player..!!!!!!!!!!!
I know that Sir Don Bradman has visited, but I never knew that great West Indian Cricketers including Sir Gary Sobers had visited this magnificent ground. Sir Don has described this ground as one of the most picturesque he had ever played on. The ground is the Brockton Oval in Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC Canada. Stanley Park is the largest park in the world in a major city.
NEVER ATTENDED THE UWI, BUT HE CAN SPEAK WELL. HILARY, THANKS FOR THE COMMENT ON MR. WEEKS, AS THE BEST BATSMAN EVER LIVE, I WAS TOLD THE SAME, THANKS MR. SOBERS. MR NASH, YOUR ARE ALSO A HERO.
13 sixes in that innings, I think- little wonder Glamorgan chose him to play for them instead of against them. My childhood hero Majid was a marvellous stroke-maker, 1st batsman since Bradman to score a test century on the 1st day before lunch (and only Warner recently since Majid). Nash became a fine medium-fast pace bowler, with nearly 1000 wickets at average of 25
@@bhaswanthgudimella344 As a young boy I used to cut pictures of Sir Gary from the newspapers. I had hundreds of them stored in my log book. He will always remain my hero as the greatest cricketer of all time. What a player!
We are enjoying cricket with courtesy of such legends today. Great love and regard. Coming from hindi background we were not able to speak names of wadekar, Nadkarni and kulkarni but Gary sobers was on the toung of each child.
I see that the trophy for test series between England and the West Indies is to be called Botham-Richards. Why not the Sobers trophy? I’m English, and I believe he is the greatest cricketer of all time.
What a great legend this man Sobers was. I remember watching him at the Oval in the late sixties to the cries of Westindies supporters chanting come on Gary.
What a cricketer! There will be another like him. Not even a distant second. Simply adore the man.
Sobers is such a great man, what a talent and a gentleman
The ICC decided to honor him with a trophy for the ICC mens player of the year
LEGEND cricketer and an absolute credit to the game !

A conversation so enjoyable and historic. Thank you for presenting andoading up the video.

At least Ravi Shastri has stopped coming into the commentary box. The "ball went like a tracer bullet" was all he knew how to describe a shot.

The great Malcolm Nash from Abergavenny. Malcolm was a great man and a wonderful left arm swing bowler.

In 1967, Pakistan's Majid Khan hit 5 sixes in one over at the same ground, and against the same bowler! I was there - awesome innings.

What a talent
The greatest cricketer that ever lived and i was born in Cootamundra LOL
Those were the glory days of cricket, when cricket used to be a royal game of gentlemen, not a round the year money making circus.
The first man,who hit six sixers in one over,Then,,,,,,,,
Bunch of characters. Fun guys.
where is that famous ball today?
Nash was experimenting with slow left arm bowling, he should’ve been out 5th ball, Nash was also hit for 34 in an over from frank hayes
Bradman never played in all conditions.

Sobbers is sober....

sir garry !!!!!!!!!! buddu
Sobers chatting... *YAWN.*
Idiot !

That's harsh, tony. While the great Sobers was a long winded bore in this interview, to call him an idiot is irrational and foolish.
