Good times was one the first places i ate at in Colorado when my wife and moved here and it’s been one of our guilty pleasures ever since. Always good food and friendly staff. I was shocked when you made it part of the list but it is absolutely worth it!
I love Cafe Jordano's Italian restaurant. They have the classics dishes but also have dishes not found in typical Italian restaurants.
First person who's known about Undicis in almost 20 years. Glad to see it on here
Piper Inn. Order the wings get the sauce Asian medium or hot. Those to this day are my favorite. Another fun fact you can buy the sauce if you love it that much and make them at home
I love good times. It used to be pricy but now everyone is pricy. They have the best chile cheese fry’s in Denver. Keep it local. It blows all of the others out of the water. I was sad to see a few close recently. I’m glad you plugged’em I have to admit I’ve not tried any of the others you mentioned but I guess I’ll check’em out when I’m down South.

I sold my condo in Denver a couple years ago and so glad I did. I will say that I have been to 3 out of 5 of these and I agree with you.
Billy's Inn on 44th and Lowell has incredible Mexican food

Fun post, thank you! About the Piper, go for the vibe. This is a great little place especially in the summer! So unassuming and the staff is very nice.Welcoming, warm and friendly. In all honesty, I think they need to hold back a little in the salt, and I love salt! But try the Piper, great little neighborhood place!

Good Times is the best... Fresh lettuce and tomato... Grilled bun deliciousness. And their shakes are fantastic too! Way to go Sam!!
I questioned whether undici would be worth the trip to Englewood. And then you went cherry tomato… which is the reason I questioned the journey lol. I’ll try it out. Thanks, love the piper cantonese wings are the way to go!!
I live near three of these, the Piper Inn being one. Love the Piper!! I'm fairly near Undici's, and my sister-in-law lives two blocks away from it! The furthest place is Cherry Tomato, and it looks like it is worth heading toward downtown. It looks easy to get to, so I'm making plans!! Great video! Thanks!
good times does have at least 2 walk in and sit down restaurants one in and highlands ranch and one in south lands
There was one on Wadsworth Pkwy, just south of I-70, with a dining room that I used to go to.
Check out Milas Cantina, 6th and Clarkson. Stopped today for the first time. Very impressed.
You’ve got to try THE PORKLET in Aurora, best Korean Fried Chicken and Tonkatsu! Best Korean Fried Chicken bar none!
I have lived in Colorado my whole life. I'm sixty one and have eaten at every restaurant except Donut House. His reviews are dead on, I personally know the owner's of Undici and have been eating there since they opened. El Tequileno best Mexican restaurant, A ki in Englewood, owned by Kevin and Bonnie, best Sushi restaurant in Denver. I was good friends with the original chief at the Piper in, in the eighties he was Cantonese and at that time the wings were the best in Denver.
Good times is 100% better than in n out.. Good list

Yep. I’d take a good times over most burger joints. In and out is fine if you want salty and greasy fries but as far as a burger, GT. They actually have a decent breakfast burrito too.
My favorite donut in Denver area is Parlor Donuts. So many cronuts there

Underrated: Reelfish, Loco Hermanos, Pepper Asian Bistro II, Holy Crepe... just to name a few

Mmm, the wild sauce or whatever it’s called at Good Times is so good. I’d like to add to your list as a 36 year old native - Willy’s Wings in Morrison and Benny Blanco’s in Cap Hill are my favorite wings and pizza in Colorado, respectively.
Also, I don’t think those two are underrated. I think people know how great they are. Just wanted to share a couple good grub joints with everyone.

Native here, i wasn't aware of three of these items. For me, i appreciate a simple but delicious cake donut. Been wanting to try Piper Inn, i like Good Times, but from my experience the pattie is overcooked. It seems most fast food chains overcook their beef patties. I think that stems from someone getting sick at a Jack In the Box over 20 years ago that received national attention.
DOMO Please. The back garden alone is worth the cost of a visit. Not to mention the amazing traditional Japanese dishes are just amazing.

Man it's nice to know I'm not the only one who likes Good Times! I'm a 67 year old Denver Native (though I live in Aurora), and for me Good Times has by far the best burgers and fries of any fast food type place in the metro area. The problem is there just aren't enough of them! I live in the NE Aurora area known as the Tower Triangle, and the closest GT is on Mississippi and Airport. Regardless, their burgers and fries are way above the national chains like McDonald's, BK, etc. their dipping sauce and custard are really good as well. Great to see Good Times at the top of your list.
You mentioned In And Out; I like their service and burgers, but their fries are too thin and skimpy for my taste--not to mention the long lines at the drive up.

Undici, used to be a restaurant called, Fratelli's and they had the best breadsticks.
I love Piper Inn. Friendly servers and the best wings anywhere.
Love me some Good Times, maybe a little too much. But I would suggest that you stay away from the one at 808 E Colfax probably after dinner time. The food becomes a greasy, we don’t really care kind of place. But the rest of their places are all awesome for fast food that is a cut above the rest. Big Daddy Bacon Cheeseburger and onion rings or chili cheese fries and a large drink. Pretty hard to beat this.

Piper Inn does have the best wings I've had in Denver. Who is better? Piper Inn Wings are pricey but well worth it. Undici Ristorante looks tempting as it is right across the street from one of the best thai restaurants in Denver called Aungs Bangkok Cafe. Good TImes isn't terrible and worthy of this list. Good Times is better then In and Out. I'll have to check out Cherry Tomatoes
Piper is the best. The Asian hot wings are amazing. The Cantonese food is taken by the last set of cooks there. The egg rolls and potstickers are yum. It is great! Voodoo donut is Satanic.

Almost went to Piper inn tonight for wings!
My gripe is that Good Times used to offer pepperjack cheese for a while, but always had cheddar cheese as an option. It looks like they dropped that and only have American cheese.

Any of the Burger Havens!! We used to go to Grandpa's Burger Haven, when it was on 44th just west of Sheridan. I think it changed to a granddaughter's name, but it might not be there anymore.
You should check out “Dad’s Doughnuts” down in Colorado Springs. Amazing Cronuts.
Have you tried Big Sky Burger in Lakewood? It's a Korean take on burgers and some of the best burgers and best fries I've had
Good times is nowhere near as good as it used to be in my opinion. But great video man

Aung's Bangkok Cafe across the street from Undici is some of the best Thai food if you are looking for a good Thai place.

Good Times has gone down hill the last few years. But not horrible. Different genre, you have to check out The Creamery. 30th & Curtis. Mexican, family owned for I believe over 50 or 60 years. Eat in your car or at Curtis Park. If you know you know

I went to Goodtimes once, for breakfast. They put Mayo on a breakfast sandwich....... I have never gone back.

We have a couple of Good Times here in Colorado Springs went there once and it was really good have been there a few times after and it was absolutely terrible not sure what happened but I wouldn't go there for anything anymore👎 now I'm questioning the rest of your reviews haha just kidding thanks for all the info

Good Times in Brighton, Longmont and Greeley have dine in. Don't forget our slightly northern neighbors.
Not a lot going on in the area of Undici? Its the third best restaurant on the corner. Both Bosphorous (amazing) and Aungs is better. Cochino taco is however, the worst restaurant i have ever been to in my life.
Good Times was once very good. Not so much the last few years. So disagree with that choice. Cavatelli's is my choice for most underrated Denver restaurant.

No mention of Columbine Steakhouse, The Lookin Good, El Huerto Family Mexican Restaurant (aka Maxs Mexican Restaurant), Yummy Station, Szechuans (6th and garrison), Sushi Uokura, or Jim's/Grandpas Burger.....im disappointed. Also Good Times does not belong on the list at all. Its a mediocre fast food chain.
I used to love Good Times until I realized how bland their meat is. They don't even put salt on the patties. Once I realized that, I started going less. Their spoon benders are the best custard you can get tho

So glad you finally got to both Undici and Steahouse 10. And pumping up Undici is so deserving. I told you and you’ve got to power lunch upstairs at Steakhouse 10.
Oh and don’t miss out on that Taco place you mentioned. Cochino in Englewood has got to be the best hipster mixed posh people taco scene around. And at nearby Cherry Hills you can forget you like Sushi Den

How about a list of OVERATED restaurants? I have a couple. Coyote Ugly and Casa Bonita. The first because there's nothing original on the menu. No flair. People don't go there for food. And the second, because the last couple of times that I was there, after years of being a working cook, I realized the cheese enchiladas are nothing more than chunks of Velveeta wrapped up in tortillas and placed under a salamander. Seriously?!?! I know it's a great place to take your kids, it's famous now because of South Park (a town nothing like depicted), but I could have a stroke and still make better Mexican food than they can. It's all kid's food, but the sopaipillas are good.
And good times should change their name to Ultra Fantastic insanely Great times! It's damn good.
this dude lost all his cred with the Goodtimes recommendation. My stomach will digest uncooked parasite and virus infected swine bile, but Goodtimes had me on a toilet for two hours. Absolute trash. all these recs are sus as best.
