Your art is always so clean and beautiful! I love all your videos!! The way you talk through the process is so concise and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent Amber!
These are beautiful cards! On the card with the 4 petals, only a CZT would possibly notice the petal arrangement, after all there are no mistakes in Zentangle. Thanks for sharing, Amber.
I'm going to make a couple of these for friends for a major event we're all attending in a few weeks. I've been looking for something different from my usual method of making cards with ZIA, and this appeals to me very strongly.
Wow! This is the very first entangle video or content I've seen or watched. Holy cow I'm hooked! I'm so glad I came across your page. What got me was your watercolor blending "charts". But this is a huge bonus for me. I'm so excited !!!
Thank you, Cassie! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The first part of my Daniel Smith Swatch Book series is live. I hope you check it out. ruclips.net/video/H_KKjmUnFKw/видео.html
These are so gorgeous 😍 love your zentangle work. Just subscribed and hope you'll do more. That rolled up paper thing you blend with, do you make that yourself? If so, can you show how 🙏
Thanks so much, Tina. You're in luck, a new Zentangle card will post tomorrow and I'll have another later in the month too. If you have notifications on, you won't' miss them. Nope, I purchase tortillons. In the supplies list above, I listed it as a paper stump, which is another option. You can purchase both versions from Dick Blick. ldli.co/e/71d5j4 [ BLIC ] Happy tangling!
@@NotableInk ooh, yay! And I already pushed for notifications 😉 I'm in Europe though, so I'll have to find an alternative to dick Blick. Or maybe I'll ask a friend to look for it. That might be easier 😂 Thanks 🙏
@@tinawilstrup955 If you have access to Jackson's Art they carry both paper stumps and tortillions. That would be a good place to start. You may be able to find them at your local craft store and art supply stores too. Happy shopping!
Thanks, Frances. I use a regular No 2 pencil vs a graphite pencil so I don't experience smudging. The pencil stays put and I haven't noticed it rubbing off. If you're using a regular pencil you could try a different paper and see if that holds onto the pencil a bit more. I find paper with a bit of texture and tooth to it take the shading best. Smooth cardstock doesn't shade well for me. If you still experience smudging, you could try a graphite or pastel pencil fixative. They have a few at dickblick.com. I hope that helps.

I love these cards! The lovely way the "y" in" thank you" curved with the design was a perfect example of serendipity, or happy accident. I'm curious - how long did the filmed card take you to complete? Thank you for the inspiration and sharing. First time viewer and new subbie. :-)
Thanks so much, Deb! Yes, I got lucky with the sentiment for sure! Oh, gosh I filmed this in May so I don't remember how long it took. I believe it was less than 1 hour so I'm going to say 40 minutes or so?? Stay tuned for more tangling!
Hi. I love your Zentangles. I was checking out your Altenew class. I have a question. Do you go slower during the class. Sorry, I find your speed so fast and hard to keep up with it. I would like to know if the class videos go at a slower pace? No offense, I guess I'm just a bit slow. I do love your art and your swatching videos too.
Hi, Susan, no offense taken at all. They are slower in the class. I do speed them up on RUclips as longer videos don’t do as well a shorter ones. But, you can always reduce the speed in the RUclips video settings. I encourage you to try it and see if it helps. Thanks so much for watching!!
Not with Sakura Micron pens. Paper that is 100% cotton and very absorbent helps too. I imagine if the paper is less absorbent and the ink sits on the surface you could experience smearing or bloom.
Absolutely loved doing this one! I’m new to zentangle and can’t wait to add this skill to my arsenal.
The colors is wonderful

Thanks, Terri! I think you're right about the petals.

This is so cool to Zentangle on greeting cards! It does save on stamp purchases, doesn’t it?!? Loved all three card designs. TFS! 😘✨👍🏾 Be safe Amber!!
fantastic
They look great 👍

Have you tried the Tim Holtz distress watercolor paper? It's super bright white. You mentioned in another video bright white watercolor paper.
I think I did try it ages ago. It was nice as well.
These are stunning! How do you prevent the graphite smudging when giving them as cards?
Thanks, Frances. I use a regular No 2 pencil vs a graphite pencil so I don't experience smudging. The pencil stays put and I haven't noticed it rubbing off. hello,
these are beautiful. Could you please guide where did you get Best Wishes/Happy Birthday tags from?
Thank you, Anubha. Which Best Wishes and Happy Birthday tags are you referring to?
i mean the cutouts in black which you pasted with the help of a tweezer?

Do your alcohol markers not make your pen ink smudge or bloom?

what size are the cards ?
MCC TGIF Hi there! They are A2 size which is 4.25x5.5-inches
🥰👍🇩🇰
muy bonitas pero no paras de hablar ni un segundo, agotador, un poco de música sería genial.
Muchas gracias. Eres bienvenido a bajar el audio.
I did good for the first half, but you lost me with the nerf balls.
