Steven Wilson is a musical genius; here in Porcupine Tree and his later solo albums.
Gavin Harris. The guy playa the drums so intricately and uniquely every time, it's different every time. Steven Wilson, Gavin Harrison, Guthrie Govan are all musical geniuses.

Oh man, now you're fucking talking! Steven Wilson is the king of prog and ridiculously talented. His body of work is fucking immense too, there's literally a ton of fantastic shit here to react to. Right up there with Tool in my opinion. I hope you keep posting more of his stuff, you just made my day. I can't dab it up with you, my old lungs would fucking implode, but i sure as fuck will twist a fatty of blueberry in celebration of your first listen to SW! Enjoy the ride dude, SW is still making music. It's not as prog as it used to be, more pop than anything really. It's good though, his latest album The Future Bites fucking grows on you man. You'll see

You can thank Akerfeldt of Opeth for the hard portions of this song. He and Steven Wilson (the signer/lead of Porcupine Tree) are good friends and have done a lot together. Steve produced several of Opeth's best albums.

Steven Wilson solo stuff is equally as epic. There’s no need to fret. As for Gavin Harrison, drummer, he’s currently in a band called: Pineapple Thief: Their stuffs brilliant. Just branch out from Porcupine Tree to Wilson Solo and Pineapple thief. You won’t be dissatisfied. Promise.

The entire "Fear of a Blank Planet" album is worth listening. Released in 2007 it still is, or is even more, relevant today due to the themes it dresses, for example (from Wikipedia):
