Great version of one of Rez Band's most powerful songs. I saw them in Portland, Maine in 1985 and will never forget it! Great music and a wonderful message too!
Looking back, I consider most Christian Rock (not all, but most) hokey, along with artist. They kind of come across as a secular rock reject and were kicked out of the club. However, Glenn Kieser looks like he was kicked out of every Biker Bar he ever graced, for stepping on people's necks. Plus that sound... the blues rock with that raspy voice. Rez Band could rock.
Yes! His devotion to God and saving souls over his career is quite evident. I'm a skeptical person but never doubted Glenn's devotion and I saw his living quarters in 89. He and Wendy shared a full size bed in a tiny room in the ghetto where they fed and housed people that the world forgot.
I believe Roy Montroy is the bassist!They were always so good to see!!They were my 1st Christian rock band concert and blew me away,especially did some BLUES!!
They were a seriously great live band. I can see here where they let the lead player over dub his solo. He was a little off I think on this one which isn't the case that I ever saw usually.
Still confused to why Christian music radio doesn’t not and has not really played much of any of Christ rock music on their stations the lyrics are better than most of the songs they put on
I was fortunate to see Rez eight times in the early eighties. I miss seeing them play live. I'm glad they got this one on film.

Rez was/is just as worthy of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as any secular band.
