Ghostface Takes Sidneys Kids? Scream 7

Scream 7 Sidney Prescott needs an excuse to take on Ghostface. Ghostface could target Sidney most vulnerable trait which is her family. Her husband could be taken but to hit with an audience more, Ghostface could go after her kids in the upcoming Scream Movie.

I love how you pretty much get straight to the point. So many others have a 9 minute video and they take 3 or 4 minutes to get to the point.

I'd like the opening to be Ghostface killing the kids nanny (Martha Meeks?). Kinkaid is a cop, Sydney is visiting Gale in the hospital when Ghostface calls Sidney and makes it clear he only wants her despite the opportunity to take/kill the kids

Ghostface kidnapping Sydney kids for an entire movie would have zero stakes because the audience already knows they are not going to kill Sydney or her kids so you know the ending is going to be happy.

In the fifth movie they showed Judy and her son. We all know how it ended.
(And this still bothers me a lot. They could have shown that Wes, at least, wasn't an only child. Or, anyway, they could show other relatives.)

with in the 13 year gap with mark&sideny had kids from 4 to5 so by 2025 it gives a opening for them to have a 16 year old so could this explore a son story the mirrors what what halloween h20 does this isn't a crazy idea with the son"Shawn dynamic for sidney this could make her fear how he might become from the tragic situation i think this is a fun idea has maybe Shawn does MMA where he fell he has a right to protect his family

You know what? It would time, in my opinion, that the real protagonist being Gale. Some might argue that Gale is perfect as a deuteragonist, but I think she deserves a main protagonist role, as she's the only character to physically appear in all the movies (Sid and Linus only appear in photos, in the sixth one).

Leave the kids out of it, if Ghostface starts kidnapping kids it's not going to feel like a scream movie it would be way out of place.

Kids are a redline for slasher movies ... no one wants to see how a beloved slasher icon kills inocent little children...

I agree. I really dislike the addition of small kids to slasher films. Not because they could die but because the acting from the kids is typically subpar and it just gets cringe.
