Leather Tanning ka kam mere dadaji ne 1957 me majdur bn k shuru kiya tha us vkt unki age 17 years thi. aur 1964 me khud ka tanning ka kharakhana shuru kiya jo ki abi b unhi k dekrek me h. Mere pitaji aur kakaji Chala rhe h.

@@Shivam-zf1ur brother fyi they are not being killed for leather. it is extracted from dead animals or slaughtered animals for meat. What r ur formal shoes made of ? plastic or rubber or cloth? stop being a hypocrite.
Yes, the leather processing involves many steps and the components like lime etc may cause health hazard. Due to industrialization and growing use of machines and invention of many alternative materials,leather has been replaced with rexin etc, though leather processing is still done in traditional method,as we can see in video. But industrialisation has brought more hazards and have its own perils. In chemical and many other pollutant industries like cement, coal, mining, atomic reactors, oil drilling etc, the risk and labour is no less strenuous and hazardous. They also pose health hazards. It is about human suffering,not specific to any group or class. It is about suffering.
@@pharaohakhneton9553 agree with you. the latest industrialization brought in many chemicals which can be hazardous to the ppl workin with it. Hope and wish they keep the traditional practice live without being affected by chemicals and stuff.

Kolhapur has national leaders, most positive mentality. Why we can't have world famous leather institute.
Within next 5 years kolhapur, beed, Sholapur, must, must, become, hub, for leather industry. Jai hind.
Leather market in Solapur is down to an extinction. huge number raw leather businesses and tanneries were closed in past 6 years. Even leather export is facing decline. If you are thinking to do business or career in the leather industry pls Don't do it.
