Good stories!! Thanks! I love all of these, especially "The Mystery of the Derelict." This retired sailor can tell Hodgson was one as well. He uses the correct terms, and jargon and his characters talk like sailors. "The Jonah" hints at how sailors like pipe and chewing tobacco. Thanks!!
Excellent score Ship stories are best. I heard an Irish/Antarctica ghost story years ago about a ship’s carpenter. I don’t know the name , and can’t find it anywhere. It was about a ship that went to Antarctica and among the 12 who went to shore , they kept counting 13 but couldn’t find the 13th individual. It was really strange
@@geoffreyraleigh1674 It was so well told , subtle and strange. Told by an Irish ship carpenter after retirement, about an expedition team . Told in 1960s about the 1910 era I can’t find it Iv tried everything The details about shadows and noises as the team start becoming aware that something was going on was really good.

Sounds intriguing.
That sounds similar to the Korean film R-Point. I loved the premise.
