I am currently watching Dacob's review on Chanel Comete 😁 But on that topic: a couple days ago I saw the article posted on Reddit about L'Oréal interest on Amouage finance.yahoo.com/news/l-oreal-eyes-stake-3-174533032.html It feels more like it's Amouage seeing what happens, especially considering their valuation of $ 3.2 billion for any deal. Also, it seems that L'Oréal would be seeking to have (for now) a minority share. Additionally, and unfortunately, this does not surprise me: since Christopher Chong left, you can clearly see that Amouage has taken a more commercial approach. Nonetheless, as a big fan of Amouage this is very concerning. L'Oréal is the graveyard of fragrance brands and I am afraid that, in a mid term, Amouage will be a dying (if not dead) brand.
L’oreal just keeps on ruining great smelling perfumes. I think it’s about time the community stops buying perfumes sold, managed and owned by L’oreal. Let’s explore other fragrances.

Hey Joao, howdy? So still watching your video, but came to comment that Tobacco Oud is not discontinued. I recently bought a 50ml bottle from FragranceBuy and the batch code says it was made in 2023. Unless they discontinued early this year, it seems it’s still in production 😊 and I love that one, it’s my favorite TF in my collection (along with Rose de Russie). Um abraço!! ✌🏼
Alhambra Oud is my favorite Oud in my collection! Second; Jubilation 25 and the third, Nero Oud from T. Terenzi! Diaghilev from Roja Dove is very opulent fragance option! Nice Top !

I'm very tempted to pull the trigger on Declaration parfum🤔. Can it be worn in warmer weather? When it comes to quiet luxury, nothing beats Chanel pour Monsieur edp tbh
I think you would not be disappointed! However, in the warm weather I would be cautious because of the spices that can be a bit too much in the heat. Chanel Pour Monsieur in both concentrations is definitely quiet luxury at its peak 👌
Great list, for me, jubilation 40 is very different than xxv, especially in the opening where i get blast of animalic oud and something very minty and green along fruits and honey. Performance is average on my skin. Jubilation xxv is also shadow of what it was before reformulation which has started with A(2015) on the batch code. Your bottle looks like D or E. E is actually solid release. The old ones with 5 digit codes were beast modes and even older ones with non magnetic cap are even stronger. Unfortunately, hard to get those strong batches partial bottles on grey market, even if you get them, they might be treated badly by old owner, so long story short, i am not buying that fragrance anymore. Same goes for PDM - Herod, which basically became a skin scent. Buglari man black orient is best creation by alberto morillas for that house and it can be found for fantastic prices on grey market. Well worthy, i would say masterpiece

"Meltmyheart" by Strangelove NYC is the most opulent in my collection. So rich and chocolatey, deep and woody. Ugh, it makes my eyes roll into the back of my head. Disgusting price, however.
I have to confirm that the current formulation of Jubilation XXV is so watered down I've tried Eau de Colognes that last longer. Gone in 20 minutes. Its composition is beautiful and should be near the top of any list of middle eastern style fragrances but it barely exists. They have ruined it. Like urinating on a Rembrandt. A piece of art disgraced. Such a shame.

I am curious how Hiris compares to Houbigant's Iris des Champs, which I find to be so soft and ghosty kind of iris.
I would say that Hiris has a bit more body than Iris des Champs, but if if you like the latter, you will definitely enjoy Hiris 😉

I found it a bit too heavy in warmer weather. It’s also a mature scent in my opinion.

Are you sure it is reformulated ? My friends don't think it is, they compared 2010 batch vs recent one's and didnt find any difference in scent.
