Gday Gadzee. He was in his natural environment and he did find bits of rusty tin but they weren’t shown 🤣🤣. It was a really nice place that Tom got us onto. Very lucky. Had to work hard for what we found. Says he is coming back at some point. Thanks for watching mate. Take care 😁👍
Hi Andrew, Viv and Cousin Jack, not a bad day and what a stunning location, very hard digging, we know what thats like when it's dry 🤣, love the thimble and saddle mount, cracking find, take care you lovely pair. ATB Bill and Julie X
Gday Bill and Julie. Couldn’t complain about the location. Lots of promise. Was very hard digging. Very happy with the finds. Do like that mount. Hope you two are well. You take care too 🦘🦘😁👍💙
Great video (would say that wouldn't I?!), spoke to an expert about the mount, it's bronze, medieval. So well done, lovely find and delighted to spend time with you and Viv on home territory! Safe travels, happy hunting and hoping to see you back in your neck of the woods before too long... Very best, Cousin Jack.
Gday Tom. It was great to have spent time with you. We had great fun being taken thither and yon with magnificent local intel. We are home now. Look forward to when you are back. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Thought I was watching an episode of the Detectorists for a moment there?! Thanks for taking us along for the ride! Learning my Manticore in the parks here in Sydney, but no chance of a 13th Cent harness mount I’m afraid!! Cheers Kiwi.Pete
Don’t mind if you thought that Pete. Happy with the finds. Thanks for watching. Good luck with the manticore. It is a great machine to use. All the best 😁👍
I know you’re home but I’m enjoying these vids so much. ❤ The friends, the permissions, the digs, the finds! Love it all. Thanks for sharing. Cheers mate 😊👍👍🍀
Gday Camile. You have a couple left to watch. As you know, make hay while the sun shines. We did have a great time with great finds but yes , the people were the best part. Take care mate 😁👍
Gday Darren. Very happy with the mount. It was hard digging. A lot of rock not far down. No I wasn’t that picky as I was looking for hammered coins which do come in low so I did dig a hell of a lot of stuff. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
Well done Andrew, loved the broach thing, Ripping find 👍 hope you Viv had a great time and now back home safe and sound, Hopefully I can catch up with you at some point mate, long overdue 👍👍
Gday Jim. The mount was a very cool find. Yes we are back and have been at work. Catching up at some point would be great. It is overdue. It will happen at some point I dare say. Take care mate 😁👍
Well the Plantagenet horse tack was a good find. Not many good finds but a beautiful estate and love the peacocks. Thank you and cousin Jack for taking us along.
Gday Marta. Very happy with the mount. Don’t find them like that down here. Did think the place would have given up more but there you go. It was a nice place to be around. Thanks for watching mate. Take care 🦘🦘😁👍
A great day out with Cousin Jack Andrew, with a mixture of finds coming up.That harness mount is a great find. I'm guessing you and Viv are now back home to reality again, but with great memories of your UK adventures.Cheers mate.👍
Gday Gary. It was a great day out for sure. Very happy with the mount but I thought potentially we should have got more older finds but it was a nice place to swing around. Yes we are home and I was back at work last week. Take care mate 😁👍
Another great hunt with a mix of good and not so good finds but that's the way it goes, liked the harness mount, thimble and the compulsory four hole button 😀 Take care Andrew mate. BFN 👋 Tony
Gday Tony. There was a mix. Could have done without the deep aluminium but there were some good things. Happy with the mount. Thanks for watching. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Very nice Andrew, that country side amazes me, a flash back in time to see what would have taken place there would be very interesting. Well done on the finds. Cheers Pete
Gday Pete. Yes a flash back would be interesting. Was a Royalist stronghold back in the civil war so times would have been a bit tense. Thanks for watching mate. Catch up soon 😁👍
Hi Andrew beautiful stuff, better than me. I got 32 ring pulls. Lovely circular spot on the no ferrous line between 25 and 40. Gotta dig em, but seriously…. 7 designs though, thinking of starting a ring pull collection.
Great to see CBK and Uncle Cousin Jack, g'day!, among the scrumpy apples, and wouldn't they taste delicious, served with one of the excess pococks?! Mum's cousin kept peacocks, some albino, in St Albans, somewhat different from an Elizabethan manor estate, the stonewalling with scoria boulders in the western suburbs doesn't quite match the zigzag possibilities afforded with flat stone of the first Elizabethan age, impressive and bold. Fancy equine leatherwork embellishment, of a great age, in two senses of the phrase, and a fitting find, ha ha! Won't find the likes at Flemington or Moonee Ponds... although, finger taps nose knowingly, units of currencies used at early racecourses of a flash character, where larger bets took place, the denominations in gold and silver make us flare our nostrils, paw the ground with our hooves, and whinny or bray like an ass. Even the tome on former racecourses of suburban Melbourne show a lot of racecourses, but few not built over and detectable open spaces, if only there'd be a comprehensive map of former country sites. Cheerios until anon!
Gday Gabi. It was a pretty amazing place to detect. Lots of history there. Very happy with the mount. Wasn’t very deep either which was interesting. Quite a few peacocks there too and lots of out buildings. Yes there are quite the amount of racecourses all over the state and a good time could be had swinging on them I reckon if you got permission. Take care mate 😁👍
Just a hint Andrew if your still over there Get the grinder and make template off your spade for cousin Jack And reshape his I did mine and couple of others for people Nice finds lads coins thimble and spear type thingy lol Cheers 🍻 CrouchOz
Gday Crouch. We are back. Second week back at work. Very happy with all the finds. Yes he was having trouble with the digging. Tough bit of dry stony ground there. Take care cobber😁👍
The big question is, did cousin Jack take you to the Coffee Bush Kid Cafe? ... You know! Returning the favour! Delayed viewing due to flat battery, caused by lack of a charge lead. Well a few of those finds were familiar to the Aussie bush, but the horse decoration was a bit to decorative to be found locally. And a very nice find indeed! With a bit of luck I'll be viewing your next hunt without disruptions. Cheers Andrew, Viv!
Gday Wayne. No he didn’t take me there. Took us a lot of other places though. Very happy with the finds and the mount. Good luck with all your batteries and such. Hope I will be seeing you soon 😉😁👍
Hi Andrew, what is that narrow spade of yours? My friend is not very heavy and she just stands on her spade and can't get into the ground. Your spade looks perfect for her. (Hope you're both getting over the jet lag back home)
@@antonharefield8341 it is a Stealth shovel from Detect Ed. Has some weight to it but worked really well. Over any lag we had and back into it. Thanks for watching 😁👍
Gday Lavinia. I took all the battery components ( control pod, head phones) on the plane in carry on and the rest of the gear in luggage in the hold 😁👍
Excellence... in a lovely part of the world. Awesome horse mount. ❤
Gday Craig. It is beautiful down there. Very happy with the mount. Cool find. Hope you all are well. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Thanks, Andrew. Great, find that buckle. It's so good to see Uncle Cousin Jack again 😊
Gday Chris. Happy with the finds. He is good fun to be with. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍

You do have to dig them. Less for you to dig next time 😁👍
@ yes, my wife made fun of me, she asked if they were an ‘82, something fruity…..
Great video. Love it.
