This part of the hobby is what I get the most joy from. The habitat work never ends and that makes me happy. You made great use of the dozer.

I'm starting to enjoy it just as much as hunting....alittle better everyday.

Exciting stuff man. I’m hoping to start clearing some openings in my closed canopy hardwoods next year. I’d love to see the sky like you have there.

that's a good move on moving them tops into a pile. i'v done that in new areas and it works great. often times the bucks will lay just behind them and wait for doe. I cleared about a spot about that size yesterday. did the same thing on two sides. planted radish and whiter peas. will over seed with winter wheat in a few weeks. best of luck. that would be a great spot for two pear trees.

Another great project Joe, I'm anticipating some good hunting videos from that spot.

Happy to see you finally getting to do something with your land. I know you talked about it many times in the past. Glad to see the future has finally made it for you. Will be interesting to see the final look and outcome of your hard work. I would perhaps look at a couple different spots for a blind so that you could hunt it regardless of the wind direction. Maybe blend one into the big brush pile and make it a ground blind. Something like an igloo style. The deer would never see the arrow coming...lol You are certainly getting the hang of that dozer. It was fun to watch in fast motion moving those trees around. Till the next video stay safe and dry out there. Tom

You read my mind on the different blind locations for this plot...I actually plan to set a stand up on the other end as well. Im really looking forward to this spot. Thanks for watching!

Can I ask what the dozer cost to rent?

I rented it for the weekend on this video...delivery included was just over $1200.
