You may want to check some numbers on that. A 67 GT 500 and a 71 Boss 351 might be a lot closer than you think. I know that 4 years worth of development for sure will make the 71 stop and turn better. On the speed I'm not sure on. The 428 was not a monster until you put some cam in it. Then it woke up. The Boss 351 however was a solid lifter motor, with all forged rods, pistons and forged steel crank , and a 4 bolt block. And a set of heads that moved more air that all but 2 of any of the FE heads. The 428 was rated at 335hp which was a full blown lie. And the 351 was " rated" at some thing very close as I recall. The Boss 351 is a very highly sought after car for nhra super stock racing because of the power vs lbs I would say you may be surprised to see the 71 come out on top vs the GT 500 I could be wrong but it's not a clear runaway I know that

It looks like a cartoon car. Had they just left it alone it would have been nice with just a rear spoiler and lowered. But that be was the ,90:s, I'm surprised they didn't put some hot pink wiper arms on it.

Eleanor was YELLOW and endured more abuse than any car ever should. This impersonator is the WRONG YEAR AND WRONG COLOR compared to the ORIGINAL ELEANOR and the lame A$$ movie this car is from was a joke compared to the ORIGINAL.
Fun fact, the look of the Shelby GT taillights came from the 1970 Ford Cougar. Shelby always took what he thought should have been incorporated with the Mustang to begin with. I personally always liked the look of the Cougar. Until I got older and realized the car had every characteristic of all Muscle cars of its era. At any given glance you could say it has the look of (obviously to me), a Mustang, a Charger, a Camaro, a GTO, a AMC, etc.. etc.. etc... But thats just my opinion.
