I’m all set to read Live and Let Chai thanks to Libby! I will continue The Secret, Book and Scone Society. I started it in early June, but I paused it so that I could read it near our discussion date.
I'm so happy that so many readers are enjoying the Seaside Cafe series. 🏖It's one of my top favorite cozy mystery series. I've re-read it a few times. I can't wait to hear what you think of the entire series. I really enjoy the Deep Dish series. I hope you enjoy it too! My favorite in the series so far is Public Anchovy #1 which has Clue, Downton Abbey, and Agatha Christie vibes. Although I read almost exclusively cozy mysteries I've never heard of The Museum Murder. It sounds interesting. I can't wait to hear what you think of it! I hope you enjoy all of the books you read in July!
Hey Hannah, I really enjoyed Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun (Book 3). Please note that there is a Book 3.5 entitled Veronica Ruiz Breaks the Bank. It completely centers around Vero’s life in college and ends before she starts working for Finlay. I gave it 4 stars, but I have enjoyed every book in the series. You don’t have to read 3.5 before going onto Book 4 Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice, but Vero’s book does set up the circumstances for Rolls the Dice.
Binding 13!! This series is a 5 star for me! You can do it girlfriend!! 😅I also have not read Divine Rivals and also own it 😂 I love you are still doing the Harry Potter books! Looking forward to bookclub with you!
What does it matter if everyone likes a book and you don't? Elizabeth Elliot was a great christian woman who was married to Jim Elliott who was speared to death along w/4 other missionary husbands. The 4 couples traveled together to Ecuador to give the gospel there to natives who had never seen white people. Those 4 couples were credited w/starting the American missionary movement because so many went after their deaths. Elizabeth Elliot remarried several times (husbands all died one after other) and she became a great teacher for umpteen yrs. She wrote numerous books, radio shows numerous speaking engagements, etc. Very famous. I read the Secret Bone and Scone, would not classify as the typical cozy mystery, but very good. Read it 2/3 yrs. ago. I DNF'd the first Finlay Donovan bk. I felt the language was vile and could not in good conscience read it as I am a christian. I trashed it, so mad I wasted my money on it.
Yesss, cozy vlog! 😍
I loved Powerless! I hope you and Keisha love it.
I can't wait to read Becoming Elisabeth Elliot 🌻🌻

I love all the Finlay Donovan books. Are they believable scenarios? No, but so hilarious. Vero is my favorite character.
🤣🤭 TRUE
I really enjoyed the Finlay Donovan series. I still need to read Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice.
❤🦊📚
I liked Finlay #3 better than #2 - hope you enjoy it. I think it was partly the different setting that made it fun.
Unfortunately, it was a dud for me, but I do think I’ll continue in the series!
The moment Hannah’s worried she won’t like powerless 🤭
Oh, little did we know. 🤣👏🏻
I’m also nervous about reading Powerless because I don’t read a lot of fantasy either 🙈
Oh, it’s SO good! 🤭
If you don't adore Butterball the cat, I'm not sure we can be friends 🐱Kidding mostly, but he's the cutest!!!
🤣🤣🤣 I’m sure I will just adore him!
I just read Secret Book and Scone Society without knowing about your book club. I'm excited to hear what you think of it.
