The Miami Heat defeated the Sacramento Kings (2), 102-86. Kel’el Ware, the 15th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft out of Indiana, recorded a game-high 26 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat, while Cole Swider added 21 points and 5 3PM in the victory. Jordan Ford tallied 22 points, 4 rebounds and 4 3PM for the Kings (2) in the losing effort. The Heat improve to 1-1 in the Summer League California Classic, while the Kings (2) fall to 1-1.

Stevens is so underrated
I hope Ware trains with Hakeem Olajuan at some point. If he dedicates the time to getting extremely good at his footwork, he has a pathway at being a top 5 big man in the NBA.
I hope he does get a chance to train with the "dream shake". But even though Jaquez jr is only a second year player, I'm sure he can show him some footwork.

@@AlphaandOmegaHere have you seen jaquez’s footwork??? It’s better than most 4/5 players around the league. A 4/5 can teach Ware how to play big, but footwork is footwork no matter the height.
@@JuanVasquez-pl4tj No it's not and that's why he said Hakeem Olajuan. You can't teach Ware a bad version of Kobe's footwork (Jaquez) and think he's going to be successful. They don't even play in the same areas on the court.

Swider, Pippen JR, Lakers have decent or good people on a team with a bench ranked 28th outta 30 that has a hard time scoring but don't give a shooter & a scorer any playing time 🤦🏿♂️ Lakers organization & coaching be wild. PLAY EVERYBODY, you never know what you'll have on the bench.
