bro its the same for me too, like everytime i watch these guys play it look as if there is nobody around doing these runs. But when i que in and try it there so many player scavs and PMC's fully decked around i can even get to these hot spots. Especially when Shroud was shooting the guard and the boss, usually once i get kills or shoot somebody i get swarmed with at least 2-3 other players in my area.

You train your eyes to watch for small movements in the distance. That and shroud is playing on a 32” monitor as well and if you’re watching on your phone you won’t see what he sees

when the video gets compressed to be uploaded it also makes shit in the distance harder to see, so he could see the enemy way easier than what it seems like bro no worries

That shit is almost impossible from what I can tell. I don't know if it's because I haven't leveled my melee or what but I legit hit a player 9 times with hatchet and he didn't die and ended up killing me. It's like fuck if 9 doesn't kill someone how many hits do you need?

I love how he is running all over and there is hardly any players, whereas I run into a full squad within 2 minutes on Reserve.
I swear 9/10 times I get a headshot from unknown direction 2 minutes into any map, I don’t even know who I run into, still having fun somehow

When I was level 2 or 3 I found a red keycard on a scav corpse right beside the smugglers boat exfil. Didn't realize what it was, sold it to therapist for like 30k rubles. I thought I hit the big time. Kill me now lol.

Step1: Have a good key

EDIT: Y'all have different philosophies on hatchet running but overall, i'd say bringing a pistol and backpack's the move (if you're not actually broke) because there's far too many other lings like you running around thinking they don't need a backpack or pistol. That leaves you able to defend yourself from scavs, other lings, and the ability to pick up more. If you're not actually broke, least you can do is make your run more interesting. There's a fine line between hatchet running as a low level and a high level.
the point of a hatchling run is to just gamma everything, you dont plan on getting out as a hatchling but if you do cool

Thomas weapon case is really rare to come across, but hatchling runs are really time efficient in making money plus its low risk high reward and that’s why people complain about them
@@ViperTia I've only ever found 1 weps case while I actually had a backpack. Me and my friends have had too many runs(like fucking 6 or 7) where we find one but neither of us had a backpack. Save yourself the pain and bring a backpack.
Thomas not really the whole point is to go completely naked so if you die it doesn’t matter plus if you have a rr then you probably don’t need to hatchet run so your only safe extraction will be sewer man hole
Dude shroud makes this game look so easy, then i try to do something and i get my head blown off 1 minute into the raid
After watching this game be streamed for so long and finally picking it up myself I’m thoroughly convinced they play on other servers when they know what times they’ll be dead.
I’m sure there’s a smaller player base for other servers that aren’t NA, so it would explain why they rarely run into people. I imagine if there aren’t many people they’d get a low ping for that server too, so it is very possible.
I can’t run a few hundred feet without coming across a player scav or PMC in NA servers. As well it sounds like a battlefield game for me it’s so lively.
@@micaheiber1419 starting out, I’d rather deal with boring quieter lobbies, yes, I know there’s an offline mode, but you receive no loot or experience. Pretty clear NA servers rarely have a drop off time, but streamers like Summit have said they know what servers and what times to play on, that “They know a few things,” which is obvious because there’s many times I see people commenting “they’re in offline mode.” They’re not, they’ve just changed their settings like you said to look like a bad ass and get to loot the entire map. Boring is very good when you need to loot, but I hate that they give a false image of what the game is normally like. Now obviously they don’t run those dead servers back to back all night or nobody would watch and they wouldn’t get the fights they do, but they surely do it to make money. Nobody wants a dead server for PvP, but for looting it would almost seem like cheating.

Went into raid with nothing but my keys, found a dvl-10 in RB-BK, guy comes down the stairs and I kill him. Dude had a weapons case, an items case, fully geared RSASS, thermal goggles, and NO ARMOR OR ARMORED RIG. I got the fuck out, 5+mil run lmao

@@caduran9 zero to hero is a cool idea, but the issue is, the majority of all the hatchlings only run the loot spawns and extracts/suicides for quicker games. if ONLY people tried zero to hero, i'd love to see that more.
Streamers: I hate hatchet runners, BSG needs to do something to get rid of hatchlings because I'm sick of not having anybody to actually fight.

Ngl it is a bad example, this will inspire a lot of new players to do hatchet runs. Theres already enough of them. And I dont recommend players to do them, you will miss out on so much free loot by not being to shoot another player. Or not being able to pick up a wcase and dip, I found 6 weaponcases and 5 of those times there was a hatchling that opened that door already and was not being able to pick it up and run.

Try this now (as of 2/13/20) since they've implemented the new Tagged and Cursed feature for hatchlings. Spawn in with no main weapon and no equipment? All of the scavs on the map start hunting you immediately, and relentlessly pursue you until you are dead.
i also forgot about when the voodoo 1X was actually like a 1.5-2x so amazing. fuck this game was so much better 2-3 + years ago

He went out with 2.2 million. He may not have done your ideal vision of a zero to hero, but he did more than you would've done. That's the point. Not the insult, the fact that it was an impressive run.

Literally any scrub going in with a hatchet or a pistol is doing more than he did. There's also nothing impressive about his run killing AIs. Do you even play tarkov? That was just a newbie run with a huge ass crutch. There are plenty of good shroud games, this isn't one of them.

Finds a weapon case, kills a scav that has a SCOPED mosin, has the Scav boss spawn in, the boss spawns in the one location he can utilize the mosin from, he finds paracord spawned so he could've taken cliffs if he really wanted to, and then survives on train with NO other players coming for him. Its either extremely lucky or offline mode. WTF.
i miss cases spawning in marked rooms, the game was so much more rewarding 2-3 years ago. there RMT changes have only wrecked the game for the average player tbh, if they get the cheating under control i hoped this comes back

it's better to atleast grab a duffle bag and a double barrel instead of just nothing, those 2 items can give you an actual chance to kill a scav or player

Zero to hero strategy: Buy a few millions worth of keys, buy red rebel, forget your para cord, hope you find a para cord and profit.

On EU servers, there are 200 players at the marked room near train station tho. I didn't expect him to find the weapon case when he got back.
