This was my father's home club. I never wanted to play golf as a kid (Football is everything in Italy) as an adult I moved to US and had the opportunity to appreciate this game, got the bug, and got obsessed. My fondest memories with my Father are sharing rounds with him at the Marco Simone... I even had my wedding tournament with my buddies organized here. This video is filling up my heart with great memories, I just wished I picked up the game as a kid, I would have shared way more rounds with my dad. Thank you guys
LOL…. Seems like a throwback vlog with the drives, lost ball music, and “KNUCKLEBALL!” edits. Just tickles my heart. Loving the course and looking forward to the next Ryder Cup! US really showed out for the most part…RYDER CUP 2023 BABY!!!
Great to see you back on the course abroad and bringing us vlogs again - nothing seems to have changed except Rays putting is superb - not sure on the look up method Ryder Cup 2023 Baby!!
Forward looking! I hope you can also come to Bethpage State Park, the black course on Long Island, New York for 2025 Ryder Cup. Just across the Atlantic Ocean.
We play a 3 way match play game which is much less complicated. Everyone takes shots off the best player at 90% two players out of the three can tie the hole and only one player can win the hole. If you win a hole you keep the win like a skin. It means you can have a few blow ups but still be in the game for all 18 as rarely does one player win more than 4 holes outright. We’ve played it for years
Liking the new putting style Mark. I have been trying it and my lag putts are soooo much closer now. Does take some getting used to, but I rarely three put anymore which has improved my scores...well when I am not shanking or chunking of course.
I've also recently thought about trying to putt while looking at the hole. I did a few on the practice green the other day and I liked it but wasn't brave enough to try it on the course.
I've been using the heads up putting since your vlog about it. Mixed results so far, but I have to say I'm already putting as good or better than I was and I have been practicing the head-down style my whole life! btw if you're interested in feedback, I hit lines very well, but struggle a bit with pace using the heads-up method.
I can totally relate. Heads up definitely improves pace judgement. And even the line slightly. Then the psychological part gets in the way. If I am relaxed and just let instincts kick in I putt way better than when I try to analyse the putt to much.
@@floydianepic3259 I know what you mean about letting instincts kick in. Sometimes I feel like I execute heads-up putting best when I don't line up my ball or rehearse pace. I simply walk up to it, look at the target, and putt. I had too many rocket putts doing that though and have since shied away from it.
100% in matchplay! I miss Dan, at least we got to see some decent golf. I know we don't all hit perfect shots all the time, but Matt and Ray mid handicaps at best!
Mark, can you explain the drop on the last @ 44.48 I had a identical drop from a tee shot the other week. didn't know to play 3 from the tee or could I drop as carried the water but rolled back in? 🤔
i think he was wrong to drop on the other side, as his ball never came out of the hazard on the other side. you can drop there, if it crossed the line and then rolled back.
100% wrong way to drop. His ball should have gone past the penalty area and than when it crossed the line back into the water, he would have been allowed to drop there within two clublength and not closer to the hole. He should have dropped either on the tee or on a straight line with the flag on tee side of the penalty area or also on tee side within two clublength.
I look at the hole when I putt too. I have done this for the last 5 years. (since I started golf) Everyone says you look at the hole like spieth yes and no. I did not get the technique from spieth I never watched golf so I did not know he did that. I come from basketball so when I started golf it made no sense to putt looking at the ball. I thought of it as a free throw. And I would never look at the ball when shooting a free throw. It is something you have to get used to and not for everyone. I do it on every putt not just the short ones.
The best video from this channel in ages, like the good old days before the world ended! But Mark, shouting from the other side of the fairway doesn’t work Bruh, we can’t hear you 🤦🏻♂️. And Rory, organise flights the day before, Mark needs his sleep….
You guys talked this whole time about Marco Simone and I was thinking literally the entire time " Who tf is Marco Simone?" Just figured out its the course name 😄
It is probably hard to tell by a film on RUclips, but I'll have to take your word that it's awesome, because it doesn't look great on film. Perhaps with crowds, stand, thicker rough etc.

Just need the head off animation
Lockey's driving makes me feel so much better 😂
😂😂😂😂
Until you see the ball speed 🤣
It gives me a familiar stomach ache, minus 60+ yards.
Same, it was surreal.
Your course vlogs and banter are easily the best in the business, love every one!
Every video - Mark, “I’m just going to hit a little cutty fade, oh I’ve drawn it”.
“I’m just going to hit a soft draw, nope that’s cutting”. 🤣😂
Love Raymondo’s comment “Matt your like playing off these fairways there nice” on the 5th . That’s what THE tour is all about.
"a little, Heely, straight one!" love MC's critical compliments :)
Ryder Cup 2023 Baby - fun video, thank you.
Ryder Cup 2023 Baby - nice vlog! Liked it.
Raymondo looks right at home on a course in Italy🤌
That place looks so pure. I'm already looking forward to the next one!
Glad to see the boys back together! Always a pleasure, cheers.
Great looking course. We are attracted by the obstacles that’s life. Best example being water.
Ryder cup baby. Loved it, great to see you all back out travelling.
Top quality as always boy’s! ‘’RYDER CUP 2023 BABY’’.
Ryder cup 2023 baby. Great fun 🤣
Really good to see you guys back on tour……”RYDER CUP 2023 BABY”
I Would Love to see yous play against golf mates would probably be the funniest golf video ever made 😆
Dodgy drop on the last, never carried the hazard line. Tut tut!
really enjoyed the banter on this vlog!!
LOL Fun round with you bunch!

Great format this, love it. Cracking looking course this one. Not seen it before.
Great video gents , love watching Ray scramble, it’s like watching myself play !
Looking forward to the next one .
Ha laughed at the link after rays second 😂
Good to see a good old fashion course vlog again, these are always my favorite but they don’t seem to make them as much as they used to.
Glad to see Mark heads up putting. I started last week because of his video. I'm loving it!
Yeah I am 50/50 at the moment. More practice needed.
@@MarkCrossfield I managed to win my first club comp in years on Saturday doing it, didn't 3 putt once I was buzzing, love the videos keep it up mate!
DJ is like "Fun Bobby" from friends.
RYDER CUP 2023 BABY - If I started like that after getting off a plane I'd turn around and jump back on it again.
Great one Mark! Good to see Ray in play and Coach needing to score well. Golf is so much Fun! Keep up these vlogs, they are great!
Coach is rockin' some fancy slick shoes
Ryder cup 2023 baby. Mat, he's a lovely boy

Muppet Tour 💪💪
You've gotta love the lost ball music :D

Mark, and gang. Now every time I have to hunt for a ball I hear that damned music in my head.
Let’s go, Ryder Cup 2023 baby! Yes, please!
Oooowwww yes an away trip!!!
Time to shine ray!!! 👊🏽🏌🏽♂️

Alright! Let’s go boys!
RYDER CUP 2023 BABY! i have tickets already
Ryder Cup 2023 Baby!
I’m missing the #lockeybombs .. but the straight ones 😜 incredible good long putts from #juniorray 👍
The forlorn music when someone is searching aimlessly for their ball in the distance is absolutely hilarious...
Not sure if I can watch this still emotional from the club twirl video 🥲
HAha I hear you bruh.
JR love it, that looks a wickedly difficult course!
The Army will never yield!
Quality Mupper tour. ❤
Looking forward to this ⛳️
Maybe it's time for coach to get some Big Berthas. Lol sorry coach but you lost to Ray. Also, Good Game Ray!
100% in matchplay! I miss Dan, at least we got to see some decent golf. I know we don't all hit perfect shots all the time, but Matt and Ray mid handicaps at best!
Dan has an excellent channel on his own now.
Yes, the best days were with Dan and this three. Time for a channel match, Dan and Bernie v Mark and Coach.

Ohhh yea! Stoked for the next Ryder! Thanks for this video my brother from a red coated mother! =)
Ryder Cup 2023 Baby
Next time I have a bad day on the course I will remember that my Captain held his chin up and fought till the end.
RYDER CUP 2023 BABY. DODGY “BROOKSIE” DROP THOUGH.
Lockeys first drive is more to the right than it is forwards.
Having just recently seen Lockies Mrs I have to say lucky in love unlucky in golf.
This was brutal to watch....turning off after 3 holes.

Nice one
Hopefully the change of grips will straighten up your clubs Matt 🙃!
Chunky McBlockey is back
I thought Matt had turned a corner with his golf 🙈
Are those socks regulation Mark? Lol 🤔
Still, after all these years, the most entertaining Tour on RUclips!
You should check out Dan’s channel, just as funny but much better standard. Watching 2 guys continually having a shocker is wearing a bit thin.
@@neilbond245 Oh No!! I didn’t realize I couldn’t watch both! 😮
Who said you couldn’t watch both, you sensitive little beaut?
I love it when the Muppets go on tour! Cheers Boys 🍻
Married life has coach off his game
Matt that's shocking!!!
You guys talked this whole time about Marco Simone and I was thinking literally the entire time " Who tf is Marco Simone?" Just figured out its the course name 😄
That drive on 1 is actually just so unbelievably crooked :D
Keep up the comedy Golf
I think Coach would do best with good old lumpy instead of driver... Come on Coach.. hit the range.. the army implores you.. ;)
Watching Lockey reading these putts is painful lol #TeamRayusJayus

Ray has improved so much
Great bunker player and putter
Lockey ,s driving hmmmmmmm
I miss the glorious 4 ball days
You guys need to learn handicap rules. Match play is 100%. Hawkeye Ray needs the help.😃
Played it in July and don’t remember most of these holes. Time to start drinking less.
The golf course looks nice, however it needs plenty of work on it for the Ryder Cup
I’ve got a feeling those scrubby rough areas are going to be grown up thick and nasty for the Ryder Cup.
Matt needs to sell his kid and start practicing golf again 🤣🤣🤣… ever since the new addition his game has been, wellllllll… off. Hahaha
17:16 Singles matchplay handicap allowance is 100%
so question , marks ball cleared the water but not the hazard line ? where is drop
It’s got to clear the hazard line. 👍
@@MarkCrossfield Thanks , so Junior Ray won the Hole !! Comon Ray
@@kquinne4443 what hole was it please
That par 5 wasn’t it. Yes you are right my drop was wrong
@@MarkCrossfield correct , i expect a full apology Video , and award of half a point to Ray
Do you shout fore in English or is there an Italian version ?
Is it just the yellow color, or is Coach Lockey’s driver shaft longer than standard? It looks almost as tall as he is…
Course looks ok but tbh not a patch on WS - just looks like a nice hotel course really.
wheres the friend of the channel gone ?, love you ray x
What handicap is coach Lockey?
