@@DuneRunnerEnterprises i did 2 times. Still running. But what i show you today its the problem. cards that are reflow(baked) will have thermal problems.
@@DanielCardei not that good, had it paired with an fx8350 and my system was a small furnace hovering around 80C+ usually...I'd say if I had a better CPU back and cooling then it would have still been around the 70C...
I had my GTX780 until about this time last year when I finally replaced it with a rx6700xt. The GPU itself still performed very well, but 3 GB VRAM holds it back in modern games. Whenever a large area would load causing the VRAM to max out the games would stutter to the point of being unplayable.
Considering the 7xx lineup,i would be looking VERY carefuly upon anything above 760. So many of 770,780 i've seen with the artifacts!!!! And you'll have to provide it with a powerful psu. So,if one is a sock coolered - stay away, but all the others, like with the Windforce cooler - might be. Oh,and the stock 780TI would not fit an aftermarket cooler, not all of them. Ask me,how i know......
i`m not going to lie i do want to get the FE models. true about the cards that requires more 12v from the PSU they tend to crack the solder. I have the Titan Z with FE cooler. GTX 690 with FE cooler. I want the rest too they look Awesome
i havent seen many dead 770 or with artifacts but i wouldn't be suprised if that's the case cause it pulls almost the same amout of power as an 780 . Boy there are a lot of dead 780 🤣and it didnt age well like the amd counterpart
The 780 (and Ti) Was a great GPU. But age has not been kind to it. For once.. many of the Kepler cards has gone wrong (and therefore needs fixing) ..especially the 780 models. For a gaming PC, you're way better of with a GTX 970 (which is from 2014 but way better aged) or a 1060 3GB, which is half the power of a 780, but better performing.
Had a 780ti for a little bit 1-2 years ago but sold it. It hasn’t aged well. The 980ti is however still fairly capable and Maxwell aged better than Kepler. I would have been excited to have this back in the day though. I had the much cheaper but still good 270X I got it specifically to play Tomb Raider 2013 better than my 6850.
No settings shown on the carmageddon benchmark? Its engine has a cap of 125 FPS and you were hitting it consistently, maybe up the settings next video? :D
DanielC, nice video
Was it artefacting, and if so - did you "baked" it???

Had an EVGA 780 SC, awesome card!
what temps did you had with it?

Bit late posting, it's a great card, I built a pc just for gog games & I'm confident the card could run them all, thanks for the video
A GTX 780 6 GB model was released and besides seeing it at a computer store when new, I have never seen a used one for sale. 🤔
i`ve seen 2 times and the cards where for sale with £110 and £130 and i didn`t want to pay that amount.
Kepler its not good artitechure compere to gcn unfortunately ❤
True. When you have other option ofc.

You got confused here.
Talking about Fortnite, while still in the Apex.

True. Kepler cards had it like the Fermi cards. in same way if they had support it will have been a good ride for those cards.

The GTX 980ti its awesome. i got the highest clock speed model the Gold Edition from Asus . Should make a new video with it.

definitely
Feels like yesterday these cards were new... But I was 22 years old. A spring chicken 🤣
Haha more bloopers
Nice video! Was wondering if you could make a video on AMD HD 7750/AMD HD7850M
HD7850M i can`t. that`s a mobile GPU. For the hd 7750 i`ll add that card to the list.
@@DanielCardei alright thank you!
I have a TI varian of this.
