Obligatory reminder that Jellal used a thought projection, which essentially halves his magic. That means he not only became a member of the Magic Council but also one of the 10 Wizard Saints using only HALF his power. It's a fact that's kinda mentioned in the anime but then never reiterated, so I'm reiterating it here for funsies. Jellal's so insanely OP it's fun to watch Mashima find ways to nerf him so the plot can progress as needed hahahaha
To be fair, we don't know if he didn't use his whole power and presence to get into the Council and get the 10WS title. But he was definitely nerfed when he was still keeping up his projections.
Ok little summary for this episode: ~ Erza's tear only came out of her left eye bcs her right's eye is an artificial one, she'd lost her right eyes when she was kid..the scene she got her eyes bandaid on ~ Jellal is sk powerful for being able to make his clone (thought projection) which possessed not even half of his power become a Saint Wizard (Makarov is one of the Saint Wizard) ~ Jellal's power is Heavenly Body Magic which means everything contains in the cosmos be it Moon, Sun, Meteor, Asteroids, Black Hole, Star.. his magic circle is yellow and has star in the middle, he also had a few other type of magics like his black magic due to the zeref corruption.. it's a lil bit different with Lucy, but still related, if we go by logic constellation should be under Heavenly Body Magic spell but the author kinda separated it and made it as its own power for Lucy that's why Lucy's magic circle is different to Jellal's but it only takes up to the main 12 constellation and a few more out of 88 modern constellation that could be found nowadays ...since you guy have watched the episode of Lucy vs Angel.. so i can finally explain Urano Metria is classified as heavenly body magic spell.. Lucy had the same magic circle as Jellal when she cast that spell..and it's a caster type spell not holder type since it's not connected to the spirit's power... Jellal also had some spell (Orion for example) which are a part of 88 constellation but they are just a typical star magic spell, and they have no spirit form.. like Lucy summoned all the 88 constellation but they came out as stars not spirit says much about it ~ meanwhile Grand Chariot is resemble the ASTERISM of Big Dipper. Big dipper is a large asterism consisting of 7 bright stars of the constellation Ursa Major.grand chariot is the name for the asterism in french.. the difference between Constellation and Asterism is.. A constellation is a grouping of stars that typically forms some kind of recognizable pattern. Constellations are officially defined by the International Astronomical Union, and the entire sky is divided up into different regions corresponding to the constellations. Thus, any object in the sky can be said to be residing in one of the 88 official constellations. An asterism is any grouping of stars into some kind of shape or pattern. They need not correspond to the official constellations, and may indeed cross one or more of them. Asterisms are not officially recognized and often vary from culture to culture... That's my observation from this story and little knowledge about astrology...i might have missed something or be wrong about something
