The "lokii" trickster god bit is in reference to its discovery. Originally the specimin (when just parts of the frill and skull were discovered) was wrongfully attributed to styracosaurus, then albertaceratops, before becoming it's own species. Also the whole centrosaurine chasmosaurine debacle. It's oddly considered a centrosaurine now due to the frill shape, mainly the pronounced hornlets at the top of the frill, which medusaceratops gets it's name for, are a classic characteristic of centrosaurs. The comparatively large nose horn/boss/bump, is also a factor, but is still small compared to other centrosaurs. And the brow horns are unusually large for a centrosaur as well.
Wow!!I like that one better than the Diablosaurus!!!!!Awesome paint!!!This company is the best and they just keep cranking them out!!I may have to break out the ski mask!!Thanks bro!!
@SBMOTION-dw5lj Sssssshhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiitt! Once the barbaric age rolls back in, I'll be down to plunder with ya!! (Finding each other would be the real issue) Once I get enough money saved up, I'll definitely have to buy some more ceratopsids, including that diabloceratops! I fuckin love that stop motion you did with it and the Vastatosaurus! Thanks for commenting man! I love reading these!!
I give this figurine a rating of 9.8 out of 10! (Forgot to say that in the video) Everything about it is awesome! Though I wish they made the red on the crest brighter, but it not a big whoop.
