The students had to break the gate and take their peers to PMCH on their own because no one was there to help. And then the police call them extremists for saving lives? How can anyone justify that? Even worse, the police started lathi-charging peaceful students within minutes when they went to the BPSC office to request a dialogue. It’s like they don’t want to listen at all. And this isn’t the first time - remember the DM slapping a student during the exam protest because of the delay in distributing question papers? That was an administrative failure, not the students’ fault. Yet they’re treated like criminals for raising valid questions about corruption and inefficiency. The system is failing these students at every level, and instead of addressing their concerns, the authorities are attacking their character and suppressing their voices. It’s cruel and deeply unfair.
