While this song is definitely very inspired by Starlight Glimmer and her journey to be a better friend, this song has some very deep personal meaning for me. I am forever indebted to my wife for her seemingly infinite amount of patience with me, as we both keep learning and growing together.

This song hits too close to home with my ex who struggles with ADHD, his favorite character is Starlight Glimmer and I was always patient with him when he strugged with stuff.. I kinda wanna cry, we don't talk anymore because things weren't working out, but he told me he was so grateful for me anyway, and I said the same. Right in the feels man, right in the feels..
That sounds like the person you would want to keep as a friend! speak out to them, and see if you can still be friends!

Starlight Glimmer has always been my favorite MLP character for how layered she is, both conscious about her past while also using it as an experience to grow herself and those around her. Absolutely adore this.
