oh guys cmon Magnus never told its a test to determine your climbing level. Its a test to determine theoretically the hardest grade that you couldve climbed based on your strenght if you've had a proper level of technique.
I like the focus on comparing the results to your own results from the past. Seems much more useful than trying to predict the grade you can climb when there are 100 other factors at play and climbing is so complex. As others commented alrady, Ondra is a prime example of how specific climbing is. He would not pass the 9c test but is one of the very very few people who actually climbed 9c and might be the most well-rounded outdoor climber regarding his skillset (strength, endurance, mobility, mental, experience, technique, ...). But even Ondra might profit from comparing his metrics over time to guide his training efforts for specific projects or comps.

I think he'd get probably 9 points on everything except front lever, but still probably a 7-8 on that.
