I use almost the exact same set up, but instead of the SUP paddle, I have an extended length kayak paddle. You can sit on the cooler and paddle like a kayak and you can stand up and either paddle or push pole with it as well. If drift fishing, you may want to use a drift sock as well. Congrats on the purchase, I use mine a lot more than even the kayak.
I just got two Bote ISUPs for the kids and have adopted one (of the boards) for skinny water fishing to supplement the kayak. It's 10' 8" and doesn't appear to have the stability of your rackham for sure, but it's a nice alternate option and gets the job done. I landed a 35" pb red on my second trip out with it 😊
Awesome new ride. I kayak fish so enjoy kayaks and small boats like this since they very similar. You, lawson and Brent are my favorite 3 fishing you tubers!
I’ve been looking for a tarpon rackham for a while as well. Might just have to settle for the new redfish one. Good looking board brother, definitely like it paired with a fly rod. Have fun flinging some feathers and tight lines
I got a bote HD last sep 2020 and that V hull in the front has a design flaw. So ive gone about 20 times, I like to pull up on little islands and shallow water where I pull the nose of the board up and sit it on dry sand not to mention putting the board in, and getting it ready it has to sit on something usually concrete or rocks. It has worn thru all the paint in that time and is now thru the shell. Real nice gator shell tech super tough worn out by sand mostly.
The day with the buggy whip was a knockout, nothin short of that. Nestor needs to send me a msg and I’ll bump his bank for some of those flies. Knees tell me I’m nuts for even considering a SUP but I love it’s versatility. Love the channel, keep after it. You remind me of me in younger days. Screw it, let’s fish!!
I would love to see more paddle board content. Love the sight fishing but in Jacksonville where muddy bottom is king don’t have that available. Love the channel.
Board seems redundant with a gheenoe and then we’re really comparing this board to fishing kayaks of the same price point... when you upgrade size on the gheenoe it’ll make more sense, love your vids favorite was you being dragged under the docks and still landing that giant keep em coming.
Found your channel from looking for different Bote products. Planning to move to Florida in the next few years and get back into fishing more! Subscribed for sure
These are the best platforms for skinny water fishing also they are fast when paddling to your spot or just out casually paddling around. I have a couple videos also on my channel showing just how skinny they get when fishing in tidal areas such as ozello crystal river area
Nice have you run your BOTE over anything like oyster beds got it Scratched or anything like that? I'm looking at there inflatables due to storage space for me and portability for me .
If you get into Flyfishing it's a Rush . I've been doing it now for many years . Most gear I have Fleamkt special stuff . Once ya pick up a Flyrod ya almost never wanna use a regular rod n reel lol. It's a Rush like no other goodluck to ya .
Fantastic! Thanks, I am just about to purchase one of the BOTEs as well, that is awesome fishing and the reds look like fun, we dont get them in Australia.
First of all , Da bote it seems stable it’s an easy transport, enough room to put minimal things , and it gets the job done , now I just saw one on ( pimpmyfly) ‘s video it looks just like yours and it works ! Now today’s catch , bro watching you hook up was stellar those were some nice fish and you having a kick azz time , I’m an old dude and need maybe a micro skiff azz my balance isn’t that good anymore but all around that’s a great day fish’n 👍🏼 tight lines !
I currently have a Duck inflatable kayak and trying to invest in something like yours . Inflatable SUP since you already own this what's your experience with it Saltwater I've had comments folks tell me that I have to worry about oyster beds. Any experience with this thing? In your choice of this Boat /SUP ? TIA
How shallow does it draft (basically length of bottom fin)? I fly fish from my inflatable paddleboard on the west coast of Florida and I'm thinking of upgrading to something similar. It get's sketchy hooking into big sharks on the inflatable too...
Hey Justin question for you man, I recently bought a gheenoe last year, roughly the same setup as yours only with an 8hp tohatsu. I’m wondering what battery you are using up front for your trolling motor .... everytime I go fishing with a friend I feel like the boat is sooo heavy up front. I have like an 80lb agm up there and It weighs the boat down soooo much... any input would help it looks like you scoot around pretty well with another buddy.
Looks like a damn good idea, man. I'm eyeballing either a Rackham or an HD for myself. It looks like it fishes quite well; is yours the 12 or the 14foot board? Either way; it seems like it fishes just fine, dude.
man I envy you!! I'm I freshwater stream fly fisherman. I'm really wanting to get more into salt water as well. I'm currently looking at a bote Rackham areo it's inflatable. I think it's would do fine however I would also like to take it in Rocky Rivers as well because that's all I have back home. do you think that would be fine?
Thoughts on the new sup??? Forgot to mention it but it will be used for beach tarpon as well!
You crushed them great investment
I fish 99% from my 2019 Rackham and its way better to use the anchor pole than the anchor and rope setup!
Very cool. I’ve been looking for a flats fishing option that’s easy to transport. I hadn’t heard of the Bote. Thanks Justin!
Awesome addition for going super skinny, you keep putting out some of the best inshore content on all of YT.
Sick new board and love seeing those flies put to good use 🤙🏻
Just like lawsons little micro skiff! That’s sick bro!
Lawson has the Rover which is much bigger and can hold an engine.
@@justin_menendez I didn’t say exactly the same😉😂
I just got two Bote ISUPs for the kids and have adopted one (of the boards) for skinny water fishing to supplement the kayak. Best video yet. Heck of job using that fly rod, epic day!
Thank you for watching!
Awesome new ride. I kayak fish so enjoy kayaks and small boats like this since they very similar. You, lawson and Brent are my favorite 3 fishing you tubers!
Thank you👏
This is no doubt the dopest video you have made. Amount of fish (and quality!), on the fly, from the Bote. Super sick! 🤙🏼😎
Love the Bote. Between the Gheenoe and the Bote you have inland waters on lock.
Nestor must be pumped you’re catching fish on flies he made for you!
He is!
Yes. Yes I am 😂
I’ve been looking for a tarpon rackham for a while as well. Might just have to settle for the new redfish one. Good looking board brother, definitely like it paired with a fly rod. Have fun flinging some feathers and tight lines
Yeah I’ve never seen one for sale until this one.
Your fly fishing videos are outstanding.
That snook run was the most epic thing I've seen today 👍
Lit man, love the snook on the fly
I got a bote HD last sep 2020 and that V hull in the front has a design flaw. Now that’s the-way to fish well done Keep em comming J We have nothing like this in the UK 🇬🇧 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

That’s awesome! More of this! That kind of fishing is some of the best!
Thanks for watching!!
He says ... “ so I don’t have to jump out and wade” but then few minutes later
He jumps in.😂
The whole time...
That’s the Mendez special lol
😂
You just had a day I could only dream of having🤣
What a day. I was in South florida in February water was muddy as hell. Nice to see some clear water
That was an epic day of fly fishing the shallows! The little shallow water skiff is handy
Thank you for watching!
You have made a ton of great videos but this has been your best and my favorite one so far and I don't even fly fish.
Love the fly fishing brother

Incredibles video man, I was looking for paddle board fishing and I ended up watching a awesome fly fishing video.., excelente..
Dude, dude, buddy you killed it...board is awesome, love it, wish I had one..that spot is killer.. congrats... blessings
I would love to see more paddle board content. Love the sight fishing but in Jacksonville where muddy bottom is king don’t have that available. Love the channel.

Justin great video, with the new boat. A lot of fish action. 👍🏻
Nice video ... I just ran across your channel. I recently bought a Kaku Voodoo and I’m planning on fishing waters similar to what you have here.
Awsome episode , the clarity n the up close n personal was on point man. WOW
Thanks🙏🙏
Might be my fave vid of yours yet. Brilliant sight fishing on fly man.
Board seems redundant with a gheenoe and then we’re really comparing this board to fishing kayaks of the same price point... when you upgrade size on the gheenoe it’ll make more sense, love your vids favorite was you being dragged under the docks and still landing that giant keep em coming.
Awesome bote and video. Every time I go fly fishing I end up giving up. I think I just need to commit and JUST bring a fly rod.
Found your channel from looking for different Bote products. Planning to move to Florida in the next few years and get back into fishing more! Subscribed for sure
Love that SUP. Is that the 12' or the 14'?
I fish off a paddle board as well and they are fun to fish off of. Fly fishing on one is way more difficult and good to see you got it down so quick!
Love your videos. So cool to be able to see the fish eat in the water on camera!
Thank you for watching!!
One of my favorite vids of yours love the new bote and fly fishing. Epic
Thank you!!
Congrats Justin!!

I’m moving to fort myers next month and this just got me excited to fish out there.
Fantastic! Thanks, I am just about to purchase one of the BOTEs as well, that is awesome fishing and the reds look like fun, we dont get them in Australia.
I was hoping to see you in a Custom Gheenoe Lo Tide 25 next but that was one heck of a day on a SUP and on fly. WOW!
Awesome video! Nice fly placement
Love the new setup bro!
This is badass i live in Sebastian and seeing as your only 20 minutes away and catching all these fish while i cant even catch a snook at the inlet😂
In case I missed it, what size yeti you running/recommend? 🤘🏽
Man you make fly fishing look easy. I wish the fish chased flies like that here in Charleston
Great footage, love the fly videos my dude.
Nice boat🎣
What are your thoughts on anchor vs stick it pole.
Very cool board and video!
Setup is on point, liked the fly action 🤙🏻
Thanks for watching!
Great sight fishing footage!

Check out the Gheenoholics group on Facebook bud. You’ll find anything and everything you wanna know
Hey Justin, what was the fly fishing setup?
sweet board
Looks like a damn good idea, man. I'm eyeballing either a Rackham or an HD for myself. It looks like it fishes quite well; is yours the 12 or the 14foot board? Either way; it seems like it fishes just fine, dude.
I currently have the HD bug slinger and love it. Im about to get my second board, which will for sure be the Rackham.
12’
Beautiful boat awesome video congrats I'm sorry to hear you lost a rod the other day with Lawson which was another awesome video
Thanks for watching😎
Epic day!

I’ve heard bad things about the inflatable Bote paddle boards but I have never owned one so I’m not positive. Thank you for your comment.
Is this an inflatable board? If so, would it get punctured in oyster beds etc?
