I'm the same about afternoon filming. I'm a morning person, so I get my best work done before noon. I love the greenery behind you. The trees look beautiful. I just finished The Moon Spinners, too! You should try This Rough Magic next. It's set in Greece, too, and felt a lot like The Moon Spinners. I love how she describes the setting in these. Great summer reads. I'm studying through Romans right now, too. I've been doing this deep dive that's taking me a lot longer than I thought, but I'm so enjoying it.
Thank you. I liked your video. I have been in a reading slump since January. I am starting to work myself out of it. I laughed when you talked about using a timer. I have been using a time for years to get myself to read.
I'll try your 15 minute timer idea. I unfortunately didn't get to my chosen Ivan Doig book yet. I'm still wanting to read "The Whistling Season" this year. I've been planning to make a video about the Mary Stewart books I read. Starting a couple years ago I read all her romantic suspense novels in the order they were written. There are 4 of her books I haven't read (yet?), the three children's novels and the last one in the Arthurian Saga. Right now I don't know that I'll ever read them because I'm not happy with the subject matter. I liked what you said about Vincent and Lord. You've got a good vegetable patch this year! Even if some look like a jungle. That's better than no veggies at all, which is what I have this year. This year I'm only dealing with flowers and am not even doing a good job of that. I'd like to get some raised beds in here eventually, but right now, I'm still getting used to having a house here.

I'm really enjoying your enthusiasm for theology! Keep sharing what you're reading, and your musings in this area as it is helpful and interesting 😊

Timers do the trick for me!
